Huachipato Managers
Huachipato FC is a Chilean football club based in Talcahuano that currently plays in the Chilean Primera División. Huachipato was founded on 7 June 1947 by workers of the homonymous steel mill in Talcahuano, and it currently plays its home games at the Estadio Huachipato-CAP Acero, which it owns, making it one of the five Chilean professional football clubs to own their own ground. Originally a multisports club, Huachipato became a football club in 2015. Huachipato has thrice become Chilean champions, and it is the first and to date, only team from Southern Chile to win the Chilean top flight title. Southern Chile is an informal geographic term for any place south of the capital city, Santiago, or south of Biobío River, the mouth of which is Concepción, about {{convert, 200, mi, km, sigfig=1, order=flip south of Santiago. Cristián Eduardo Reynero Cerda (born August 25, 1979 in Chile) is a Chilean former footballer who played as a centre-back. He is the current assistant coach of Miguel Ramírez for Unión Española. Club career He started his career with Huachipato, where he played from 1999 to 2006. In the last four seasons with the club, Reynero served as team captain. In 2007, he was signed by Audax Italiano. Audax Club Sportivo Italiano () is a Chilean football club based in La Florida playing in the Campeonato Nacional, having has spent most of its history in the top tier of Chilean football. The 2023 Chilean Primera División, known as Campeonato Betsson 2023 for sponsorship purposes until 15 October 2023, was the 93rd season of the Chilean Primera División, Chile's top-flight football league. The season began on 20 January and ended on 9 December 2023. Huachipato were the champions, clinching their third league title on the final round of the season with a 2–0 win over Audax Italiano and a 1–0 defeat for Cobresal at the hands of Unión Española on 8 December 2023, regaining the title after 11 years and being the first team from outside Santiago to win the title since 2015. Pedro Antonio Morales (October 22, 1942 – February 12, 2019) was a Puerto Rican professional wrestler. He is best known for his appearances in the United States with Worldwide Wrestling Associates (WWA) and the World Wide Wrestling Federation (WWWF). Debuting in 1959, Morales originally came to prominence with WWA in the 1960s, where he held the World Heavyweight Championship and World Tag Team Championship. In 1970, he joined the WWWF, winning its World Heavyweight Championship and United States Championship. Gonzalo Alejandro Jara Reyes (; born 29 August 1985) is a Chilean former professional footballer who played as a defender. He was a versatile defender and could play in either a full-back role or as a centre-back. Formed at Huachipato, he later won three league titles at Colo-Colo. In 2009, he moved to England, where he represented West Bromwich Albion, Brighton & Hove Albion and Nottingham Forest, joining Mainz in 2014.
