Cynthia González
Cynthia Cecilia González Saavedra (born 29 June 1992) is a Mexican badminton player. She won the women's doubles title at the Badminton at the 2010 Central American and Caribbean Games, 2010 Central American and Caribbean Games, and was part of the Mexican winning team at the Games in 2010 and Badminton at the 2018 Central American and Caribbean Games, 2018. González participated at the Badminton at the 2011 Pan American Games, 2011 and Badminton at the 2015 Pan American Games, 2015 Pan American Games. Badminton
Badminton is a racquet sport played using racket (sports equipment), racquets to hit a shuttlecock across a net (device), net. Although it may be played with larger teams, the most common forms of the game are "singles" (with one player per side) and "doubles" (with two players per side). Badminton is often played as a casual outdoor activity in a Yard (land), yard or on a beach; professional games are played on a rectangular indoor court. Points are scored by striking the shuttlecock with the racquet and landing it within the other team's half of the court, within the set boundaries. Each side may only strike the shuttlecock once before it passes over the net. Play ends once the shuttlecock has struck the floor or ground, or if a fault has been called by the umpire, service judge, or (in their absence) the opposing side. Mariana Ugalde
Mariana Ugalde Campo (born 7 January 1993) is a Mexican badminton player. She competed at the 2010 Summer Youth Olympics. Ugalde was part of Mexican winning team at the 2010 and 2018 Central American and Caribbean Games, and also a runner-up in 2014. In the individual event, she has collected a silver and two bronze medals in the women's doubles and another two bronze medals in the women's singles during her participation at the Central American and Caribbean Games from 2010 to 2018. Veracruz (), also known as Heroica Veracruz, is a major port city and municipal seat for the surrounding municipality of Veracruz on the Gulf of Mexico and the most populous city in the Mexican state of Veracruz. Victoria Montero
Victoria Montero (born Victoria Eugenia Montero Enríquez; 25 August 1991) is a Mexican athlete who competes in badminton. In 2010, she participated at the 2010 Central American and Caribbean Games where she won the gold medal in the singles, doubles and team competitions as well as the bronze medal at the mixed competition. In 2011, she participated at the Pan American Games where she won the bronze medal at the singles competition. In 2012, she secured her qualification to represent Mexico at the London Olympics to participate in the singles event via the world ranking. Montero did not advance to the knock-out stage after losing two matches against Tai Tzu-ying of Chinese Taipei, and Anu Nieminen of Finland in the group K stage.
