Cour-Maugis sur Huisne () is a commune in the department of Orne, northwestern France. The municipality was established on 1 January 2016 by merger of the former communes of Boissy-Maugis (the seat), Courcerault, Maison-Maugis and Saint-Maurice-sur-Huisne. Geography The Commune along with another 70 communes shares part of a 47,681 hectare, Natura 2000 conservation area, called the Forêts et étangs du Perche. Dolmen
A dolmen, () or portal tomb, is a type of single-chamber Megalith#Tombs, megalithic tomb, usually consisting of two or more upright megaliths supporting a large flat horizontal capstone or "table". Most date from the Late Neolithic period (40003000 BCE) and were sometimes covered with earth or smaller stones to form a tumulus (burial mound).
