Concetta Caristo
Concetta Caristo ( ) is an Australian radio presenter and comedian. She is of Italian parentagand has co-hosted the triple j radio show ''Breakfast'' with Bryce Mills since December 2022. Career Caristo began performing comedy in 2019. The same year, she co-wrote (with Hannah Pembroke) and starred in the one-woman play ''Loose'', an autobiographical "blend of stand-up, storytelling and theatre" about Caristo's family escaping from her abusive father and moving to Perth. The show was her debut at the Sydney Fringe Comedy Festival. Other shows Caristo has performed in include ''Big Natural Talents'' and ''Funny As Sin''. She has been co-host of the morning radio show ''triple j Breakfast'' since December 2022. Triple J
Triple J (stylised in all lowercase) is a government-funded, national Australian radio station intended to appeal to listeners of alternative music, which began broadcasting in January 1975. The station also places a greater emphasis on broadcasting Australian content compared to commercial stations. Triple J is a division of the Australian Broadcasting Corporation. History 1970s: Launch and early years 2JJ commenced broadcasting at 11:00 am, Sunday 19 January 1975, at 1540 kHz (which switched to 1539 kHz in 1978) on the AM band. It is a revived version of the game show '' Letters and Numbers'', which aired on SBS from 2010 to 2012, with an altered format with celebrity contestants competing rather than members of the public. Co-hosts David Astle and Lily Serna returned from the original series, while comedian, journalist and actor Michael Hing replaced presenter Richard Morecroft as host.
