Colin Campbell Award
The Collie Campbell Memorial Award was created in honour of Canadian Collie Campbell, who served as president of the International Curling Federation, now known as the World Curling Federation, from 1969 until his death in 1978. It is presented to the male curler "who best displays the ideals of sportsmanship and skill" during the World Curling Championships. The winner is selected by his fellow curlers in the tournament. Colin Campbell (Ontario Politician)
Colin Alexander "Collie" Campbell (17 January 1901 – 25 December 1978) was a Canadian mining engineer, politician and curling administrator. Campbell was the president of the International Curling Federation from 1968 to 1978 and served as a Liberal Party member of the House of Commons of Canada. He was born in Shedden, Ontario. Tommy Stjerne
Tommy Stjerne (born 20 July 1957 in Copenhagen) is a Danish curler. Stjerne curls out of Hvidovre Curling Club outside Copenhagen. He has represented Denmark in the 1977, 1981, 1983, 1986, 1989, 1990, and 1998 World Curling Championships. His best finish was a bronze in 1990. He skipped his team to win the 2010 Danish Curling Championship. His son (Rasmus Stjerne) skipped the Danish team to a silver medal in the 2010 European Curling Championships. Markus Eggler
Markus Eggler (born 22 January 1969 in Thun) is a retired Swiss curler from Münchenstein. Eggler was the skip of the Swiss team at the , and World Junior Curling Championships. At the event, he won a bronze medal. He then skipped the Swiss team at the World Curling Championships in 1991, 1992 and 1994. He was the world champion in 1992 when his Swiss team defeated Hammy McMillan's Scottish team in the final 6-3. Eggler won a bronze at the 1994 World Championships and a bronze at the 1993 European Curling Championships. After 1994, Eggler would not return to international curling until 2000 when he played third for Andreas Schwaller at the European Championships. Hugh Ronald Alexander Millikin (born 4 July 1957 in North Vancouver, British Columbia) is an Australian curler originally from Ottawa, Ontario. Career In 1986, while still residing in the Canadian province of Ontario, Millikin played second position for Dave Van Dine's Canadian Mixed Curling Championship team. Millikin would later move to Australia and has skipped the Australian team to nine Pacific Curling Championships titles. Millikin has also participated in 11 World Curling Championships. The team's top placements have been sixth place in 1992, 1993 and 2008. Millikin also went to the 1992 Winter Olympics, skipping the Australian team to a seventh-place finish in the demonstration event. Greg McAulay
Gregory McAulay (born January 2, 1960) is a Canadian World champion curler from Richmond, British Columbia. Career McAulay has been to only two Briers in his career. At the 1998 Labatt Brier, he skipped his British Columbia team to a 7-4 finish before losing to Saskatchewan (skipped by Rod Montgomery) in a tie-breaker. Two years later, McAulay was back at the Brier. In the 2000 Labatt Brier, his team of himself, Brent Pierce, Bryan Miki and Jody Sveistrup finished with an impressive 9-2 record to finish in first place after the round robin. In the playoffs, he defeated Russ Howard's New Brunswick rink twice to capture his first and only Brier title. This qualified McAulay for the 2000 Ford World Curling Championships, where he would skip the Canadian team. At the Worlds, he finished with an 8-1 record.
