Cole Hutson
Cole Hutson (born June 28, 2006) is an American college ice hockey defenseman for Boston University of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA). He was selected in the second round, 43rd overall, by the Washington Capitals in the 2024 NHL entry draft. Playing career Junior In the 2022–23 season, Hutson set the USA Hockey National Team Development Program (NTDP) record for single-season points by a defenseman with 68 points in 61 games. The following season, he totaled 15 goals and 51 points in 51 games, finishing his NTDP career as the all-time leader in program points by a defenseman, with his 119 points eclipsing the previous record of 111 set by J. Quinn Hutson (born January 1, 2002) is an American professional ice hockey player for the Edmonton Oilers of the National Hockey League (NHL). He played college ice hockey at Boston University. Playing career College Hutson began his college ice hockey at Boston University during the 2022–23 season. During his freshman year, he recorded 15 goals and 13 assists in 39 games. During the 2023–24 season, in his sophomore year, he recorded 18 goals and 18 assists in 40 games. United States Men's National Under-18 Ice Hockey Team
The United States National Team Development Program (NTDP) represents the United States in the IIHF World U18 Championship. Additionally the team plays domestically against opponents in the United States Hockey League (under-17 and under-18 teams), the National Collegiate Athletic Association (under-18 team), and other international tournaments.
