Jimmy Pursey
James Timothy Pursey (born 9 February 1955) is an English rock musician. He is the founder and frontman of the punk rock band Sham 69, which he has performed with since 1976, along with releasing material as a solo artist. Early life Pursey was born in Hersham, in the county of Surrey on 9 February 1955. His father was a plumber and former British Army soldier, and his mother worked as a cinema usherette. He received his education at Hersham House & Burhill Infants, Hersham Juniors, and at Rydens School, which he left at the age of 15 to work in a curtain shop. In his youth he was a regular attender at the local disco, the Walton Hop at the Playhouse Theatre, where he met the record producer Jonathan King. Corey Soljan (born 1987 in Sydney), better known by his artistic name Code Black, is an Australian hardstyle- DJ and music producer. As a member of the act Bioweapon, along with Audiofreq, he travelled the world. Finding success in the Netherlands, he began a solo career stopping his duo act in 2011. He has played at various events including Mysteryland, Tomorrowland, HardBass, Decibel, Euphoria and both of the Defqon.1 music festivals held in The Netherlands and Australia. He mainly produces and plays euphoric hardstyle tracks, but also produces and plays some rawstyle tracks. Code Black's solo career began when he was signed to the label Fusion Records at the end of 2011. His first solo release, "Red Planet" in the same year, had great success within the hardstyle community. Arguably his most successful release, "Brighter Day" in 2013, reached number 28 on the Dutch Dance Chart. In 2012 Code Black performed a mix on the Kutski show for BBC Radio 1. It takes place in an overcrowded and understaffed emergency room in Los Angeles, California, and is based on a 2013 documentary film by Ryan McGarry. On May 16, 2016, the show was renewed for a 13-episode second season, which premiered on September 28, 2016. On November 14, 2016, CBS added three more episodes, to bring the total to 16. On May 14, 2017, the series was renewed for a third season, which premiered on April 25, 2018. On May 24, 2018, CBS canceled the series after three seasons. The series finale aired on July 18, 2018. History Codeblack Enterprises was founded by Jeff Clanagan in 2005, who became CEO of the company.
