Clément Bayiha
Clément Yvan Landry Bayiha (born March 8, 1999) is a soccer player who plays for Icelandic club Þór Akureyri in the 1. deild karla. Born in Cameroon, he represented Canada at youth international level. Early life Born in Cameroon, he moved to Guipry, France at the age of five with his family. He began playing youth soccer in France at age eight with US Bain de Bretagne. At age 11, he moved to Ste-Thérèse, Quebec in Canada with his family. In Canada, he played youth soccer with AS Blainville, before joining the Montreal Impact Academy in 2016. In 2018, he attended pre-season training camp with the Montreal Impact first team. Íþróttafélagið Þór (, ), commonly known as Þór Akureyri (), or simply Þór or Thór, is a multi-sport club in Akureyri, in the north of Iceland. It features departments in basketball, football, handball and taekwondo. Its main rival is another sport club from Akureyri named KA. Tomas Giraldo Ortiz (born March 8, 2003) is a soccer player. Born in Colombia, he represented Canada at youth international level. Early life Ortiz began playing youth soccer at age six, in his native Colombia, with Instituto Jorge Robledo. At age eight, he moved to Canada with his family and began playing with CS Braves d'Ahuntsic. Afterwards, he joined FS Salaberry. In 2015, he joined the Montreal Impact Academy. Club career In June 2020, he signed a professional contract with the Montreal Impact (later renamed CF Montréal) as a homegrown player. In 2021, he went on loan with FC Edmonton of the Canadian Premier League. However, he was unable to appear for Edmonton, after suffering an injury that kept him out for the entire season. The Canadian Premier League (CPL or CanPL; ) is a professional Association football, soccer league in Canada and the highest level of the Canadian soccer league system. The league comprises eight teams, from five of provinces and territories of Canada, Canada's ten provinces.
