Club Doctor Benjamín Aceval is a Paraguayan football club based in Villa Hayes,Presidente Hayes. It was stablished in June 6, 1918. Since 2023 they play in the Primera División B Metropolitana of the Tercera División, after winning the title of the Primera División C of the Cuarta División in 2022. They play at Isidro Roussillón Stadium, which has a capacity of 5.000 seats. History Founded in June 5, 1918, it's one of the first clubs of the Chaco region, For this reason it is known as the ''Decano Chaqueño'' (''Dean of Chaco)'', originally affiliated to UFI's ''Liga Villahayense de Fútbol'', the club was champion on several occasions of the regional tournament, its last titles were achieved in 2005 and 2006, through this last title it was able to registering in 2007 for the UFI Champions Cup (third division), which granted a place for the División Intermedia of the following season, finally they managed to become champion of this "Pre-Intermedia" tournament. Club Sportivo Limpeño
Club Sportivo Limpeño is a Paraguayan football club based in Limpio that currently plays in Primera División B Metropolitana. History Despite being founded in 1914, Sportivo Limpeño only joined the Paraguayan Football Association in 2013, being formerly affiliated with the UFI. The club had a successful debut, winning the Primera División C. After four seasons, the club was relegated back to Primera C, but achieved promotion by finishing as runners-up and will play again in the Primera B. Women's team Sportivo Limpeño has become more known because of its women's team, which participates in the Paraguayan women's championship since 2009. The División Intermedia (), also known as the Segunda División (), is the third highest professional football league in Paraguay. It is organized by the Asociación Paraguaya de Fútbol. Overview Since 1910 the second division tournaments have changed rules, number of teams and names. As of 2006, División Intermedia is the name for the second division and 16 teams are part of it. The Unión del Fútbol del Interior (; UFI) is an association affiliated to the Asociación Paraguaya de Fútbol, Paraguayan Football Association that was founded in 1927 to organize and govern football (soccer), football outside of Asunción, specifically on each of the different Departments of Paraguay. The UFI is constituted by the clubs and leagues that are part of the Departmental Football Federation from each Department in Paraguay. Club tournaments organized by the UFI gives chances to teams from all over Paraguay to reach the Liga Paraguaya: Primera División, first division by clearing lower division levels. Chaco (Paraguay)
The Paraguayan Chaco or Región Occidental (Western Region) is a semi-arid region in Paraguay, with a very low population density. It is the Paraguayan part of the Gran Chaco. The area is being rapidly deforested, with the highest deforestation rate in the Gran Chaco and 50% of the forest projected to be lost by 2030. The Primera División B (''First Division B'': in English), also known as Primera División B Metropolitana or simply Primera B Metropolitana in order to distinguish it from the Primera División B Nacional, is the metropolitan tournament of the Paraguayan Tercera División. Only teams from the Gran Asunción metropolitan area and Central Department take part in this third division league.
