Club Deportivo Balsicas
Centro Deportivo Balsicas was a football team based in Balsicas, Torre-Pacheco, in the Region of Murcia. The club was dissolved in 2002. History Club Deportivo Balsicas started playing in 1982, managing to reach the ''Regional Preferente'' before selling their place to newly-created Cartagonova FC in 1995, amidst several financial trouble. Four years later, the club returned to an active status under the name of Club Deportivo Equidesa, and switched name to Centro Deportivo Balsicas in the following year. Balsicas achieved a first-ever promotion to Tercera División in 2001, before again selling their place to another new club, Lorca Deportiva CF, in 2002. Another club named CD Balsicas was founded in shortly after, and immediately took Algezares CF's place in Territorial Preferente. Balsicas
Balsicas is a locality in the municipality of Torre-Pacheco in the autonomous community of Murcia, Spain. It has a population of 3,305 inhabitants. History The town was founded in the fifteenth century. It's name is from the word balsa, or rafts, and derives ultimately from the Muslim rule of Spain. The Sima de las Palomas caves had Neanderthal remains. It boasts historical heritage such as the Castillo del Vizconde Ros and a church dedicated to Our Lady of the Rosary located in the southern part of the town. Football Balsicas features a football school and a stadium named "Los Cipreses." The city had three semi-professional clubs: Club Deportivo Balsicas, which played once in Tercera División; Atlético Balsicas, which played only in the 1995–96 season; and Balsicas Atlético, which featured in one Tercera Federación season before selling their place. Torre-Pacheco () is a municipality in the autonomous community of Murcia in southeastern Spain. It covers an area of and its population in 2019 was 35,676.
