Circular Line (New Taipei Metro)
The Circular or Yellow line (code Y) ( zh, t=環狀線) is a metro line in New Taipei City, part of the New Taipei Metro, which was previously a line of the Taipei Metro. Currently the line runs between and , it is approximately long with 14 stations. This initial section was opened on 31 January 2020. Hitachi Rail Italy supplied 17 sets of 4-car driverless medium-capacity trains for the line. Extensions to the north and south are currently under construction. Construction Hitachi Rail STS supplied electromechanical equipment for the line, including driverless technology and CBTC signaling. , currently the only underground station on the line, was constructed by RSEA Engineering Corporation and employed the cut-and-cover method. Yellow
Yellow is the color between green and orange on the spectrum of light. It is evoked by light with a dominant wavelength of roughly 575585 nm. It is a primary color in subtractive color systems, used in painting or color printing. In the RGB color model, used to create colors on television and computer screens, yellow is a secondary color made by combining red and green at equal intensity. Xinzhuang District
Xinzhuang District () is a district in the western part of New Taipei in northern Taiwan. It has an area of and a population of 421,248 people (February 2023). History A former name of the area is ''Pulauan'' (). On 15 January 1980, Xinzhuang was upgraded from an urban township to be a county-administered city of Taipei County. Xindian District
Xindian District () is an inner city District (Taiwan), district in the southern part of New Taipei City, Taiwan. Name Xindian's name originated during the Qing Dynasty close to 300 years ago. According to legend, a person named Lin and others came from Quanzhou, Fujian, Fujian Province. On a mountain road leading to Wulai, Taipei, Wulai, they built a small cabin and opened a store selling groceries for the exchange of goods with mountain Taiwanese aborigines, aborigines. Since the store had no formal name, travelers called it ''Sintiam'' (). Daniel Buren (born 25 March 1938, in Boulogne-Billancourt) is a French conceptual artist, painter, and sculptor. Banqiao Station
Banqiao () is a railway and metro station in New Taipei, Taiwan served by Taiwan High Speed Rail (THSR), TRA, Taipei Metro and New Taipei Metro. With the exception of the Circular Line, all other tracks and platforms in the station are located underground. The station is served by the fastest HSR express services of the ''1 series''. The current station building opened in 1999 for TRA, 2006 for Taipei Metro, and 2007 for HSR. The station currently handles over 77 million entries and exits per year. Tamsui River
The Tamsui River (alternatively Danshui River, ) is the third longest river in Taiwan after Zhuoshui River and Gaoping River, with a total length of , flowing through Hsinchu County, Taoyuan, Taipei and New Taipei City.
