Baku Suburban Railway
The Baku suburban railway () or Absheron Circular line () is a commuter rail service which began in 2019, serving the Azerbaijani capital Baku. Background In 2016, Chairman of Azerbaijan Railways Javid Gurbanov confirmed that work was underway on a railway line to Heydar Aliyev International Airport from Baku's Baku railway station, main station. In 2018, president Ilham Aliyev announced funding for a suburban rail service for Baku. The 100 million Azerbaijani manat, manat project was to include upgrading the existing railway between Baku and Sumqayıt via Biləcəri, as well as bring back into use the disused route connecting the two cities via Sabunçu and Pirşağı. The Cikarang Loop Line (formerly Bekasi Line and Cikarang Line), officially the Cikarang Commuter Line, is a commuter rail line in Jakarta, Indonesia which is operated by PT Kereta Commuter Indonesia (KCI). The line connects Kampung Bandan station in North Jakarta and Cikarang station in Cikarang, Bekasi Regency, West Java. On maps and diagrams, the line is shown using the color "blue" (). Jakarta Kota–Cikarang is the extension of previously Jakarta Kota–Bekasi line which connects to Cikarang since 8 October 2017. The Circular or Yellow line (code Y) ( zh, t=環狀線) is a metro line in New Taipei City, part of the New Taipei Metro, which was previously a line of the Taipei Metro. The Kaohsiung Circular Light Rail () is a light rail loop line in Kaohsiung, Taiwan, operated by the Kaohsiung Rapid Transit Corporation. The line stretches over a length of 22.1 kilometers and has 38 stations. The southern part of this line makes use of the defunct tracks of the Kaohsiung Harbor Railway Line. Construction cost was forecasted to be 16.5 billion New Taiwan dollars. Phase I consists of the section of the line from Station C1 to Station C14, of which Stations C3 and C14 are transfer stations to the KMRT and , respectively. Karachi Circular Railway (abbreviated as KCR) (, Sindhi language, Sindhi: ڪراچي سرڪيولر ريلوي) is a partially active regional public transport, public transit system in Karachi, Sindh, Pakistan, which serves the Karachi metropolitan area. KCR was fully operational between 1964 and 1994, until it was abruptly shutdown in 1999. Since 2001, several restart attempts were sought and in November 2020, the KCR partially revived operations on the orders of Supreme Court of Pakistan. Yangon Circular Railway
Yangon Circular Railway ( ) is the local commuter rail network that serves the Yangon metropolitan area. Operated by Myanma Railways, the 39-station loop system connects satellite towns and suburban areas to the city. Circa 2008–2010, the railway had about 200 coaches, had 20 daily runs, and sold 100,000 to 150,000 tickets daily. The railway is heavily utilized by lower-income commuters, as it is (along with buses) the cheapest method of transportation in Yangon. The hours of service have been consistent over the years, from 3:45 am to 10:15 pm daily. In 2011, the cost of a ticket for a distance of 15 miles was two hundred kyats (~eighteen US cents), and that for over 15 miles was four hundred kyats (~37 US cents). The MRT Circle Line, also known as MRT 3, is a proposed thirteenth rail transit line, the third Klang Valley Mass Rapid Transit, Mass Rapid Transit line and the fifth List of automated urban metro subway systems, fully automated and driverless rail system in the Klang Valley, Malaysia. The is a rapid transit railway line of the municipal Toei Subway network in Tokyo, Japan.
