Christopher Bowers (born 30 July 1998) is a British slalom canoeist who has competed at the international level since 2014. He won two medals in the K1 team event at the ICF Canoe Slalom World Championships with a gold in 2018 and a silver in 2022. European Junior And U23 Canoe Slalom Championships
The European Junior and U23 Canoe Slalom Championships is an annual international canoeing and kayaking event organized by the European Canoe Association (ECA). The Junior Championships were first held in 1995 and then every two years until 2003. The Under-23 Championships were first held in 2002 as part of the senior championships that year. Since 2004 the junior and U23 age categories are held annually together as part of the same event. Athletes under the age of 18 are eligible for the junior category. The ''Kraków-Kolna Canoe Slalom Course'' is an artificial whitewater course in Poland, on the south bank of the Vistula River The Vistula (; pl, Wisła, ) is the longest river in Poland and the ninth-longest river in Europe, at in length. The 2022 Canoe Slalom World Cup was a series of five races in six canoeing and kayaking categories organized by the International Canoe Federation (ICF). It was the 35th edition. Russia and Belarus were excluded from participation due to the 2022 Russian invasion of Ukraine. Calendar The series opened with World Cup Race 1 in Prague, Czech Republic (10–12 June) and closed with the World Cup Final in La Seu, Spain (2–4 September). The 2014 ICF World Junior and U23 Canoe Slalom Championships took place in Penrith, Australia from 23 to 27 April 2014 under the auspices of the International Canoe Federation (ICF) at the Penrith Whitewater Stadium.
