Christine Kozlowski
Christine Kozlowski is an American beauty pageant titleholder who was crowned Miss Mississippi on June 28, 2008. Kozlowski, a native of D'Iberville, is of Polish and Latina descent and is the first Miss Mississippi of Latina heritage. Kozlowski participated in Miss Mississippi as "Miss Gulf Coast". At the time of her win, she was a sophomore nutrition and dietetics major at the University of Southern Mississippi. Her platform is diabetes awareness. She was awarded a Preliminary Swimsuit Award at the 2009 Miss America Pageant. On October 1, 2014, Kozlowski was proposed to at a One Direction concert in Atlanta, GA. Her then boyfriend, Bradley Chisenhall, contacted 1D member Harry Styles to help with the proposal. The proposal was the top trend in the world from October 1 to October 3. Miss Mississippi
Miss Mississippi is a scholarship beauty contest, pageant and a preliminary of Miss America. The contest began in 1934, has been held in Vicksburg, Mississippi, Vicksburg since 1958, and provides more money than any other scholarship pageant in the Miss America Organization. Four Miss Mississippis have won the Miss America crown: Mary Ann Mobley (1959), Lynda Lee Mead (1960), Cheryl Prewitt (1980), and Susan Akin (1986). The current titleholder is Anna Leah Jolly of Brandon, Mississippi, Brandon, who was crowned Miss Mississippi 2025 on June 14, 2025 at the Vicksburg Convention Center in Vicksburg, Mississippi. WLOX (channel 13) is a television station licensed to Biloxi, Mississippi, United States, serving the Mississippi Gulf Coast as an affiliate of ABC and CBS. It is owned by Gray Media alongside low-power MeTV affiliate WTBL-LD (channel 51). The two stations share studios on DeBuys Road in Biloxi; WLOX's transmitter is located in unincorporated southern Stone County near McHenry.
