Christian Social Party (Chile)
The Christian Social Party (PSC; ) is a Chilean political party founded in September 2022. It was formed by independent leaders and ex-militants of the defunct Christian Conservative Party (PCC). History The community arose after the dissolution of the PCC, a group that during the 2021 parliamentary elections achieved the election of Sara Concha as deputy for the Ñuble Region under the Christian Social Front pact. Among its founders were Luciano Silva, a former National Renewal (RN) conventioneer, and Antaris Varela, who presided over the PCC. Ángel Roa served as party leader from September 2022 to May 2023. Like its predecessor, the PSC is linked to evangelical and conservative church groups. Christian Conservative Party (Chile)
The Christian Conservative Party (, PCC) was a far-right conservative political party in Chile. It was officially recognized by the Electoral Service of Chile (Servel) on 30 October 2020. The origins of the party date back to 2001, when the "''Águilas de Jesús''" movement emerged at the University of Concepción in order to compete for political spaces in the university. Its members are Evangelicals and Protestants. In 2021 the Christian Conservative Party formed a coalition called the Christian Social Front with the Republican Party, and supported the Republican Party presidential candidate, José Antonio Kast. The party was dissolved in February 2022 because it did not receive at least 5% of the votes in the 2021 parliamentary elections to maintain its legality. The Senate of the Republic of Chile is the upper house of Chile's bicameral National Congress, as established in the current Constitution of Chile. Biobío Region
The Biobío Region ( ) is one of Chile's sixteen regions (first-order administrative divisions). With a population of 1.5 million, thus being the third most populated region in Chile, it is divided into three provinces: Arauco, Biobío and Concepción. Francesca Elizabeth Andrea Muñoz González (born March 7, 1980) is a Chilean politician, English teacher, and member of the Christian Social Party (PSC). She currently serves as a deputy for District 20. Biography She was born in Concepción to Juan Ricardo Muñoz Roa and Magdalena del Carmen González Manríquez. She attended elementary and high school at the Liceo Comercial Enrique Oyarzún Mondaca, in Concepción, and completed her higher education at the Universidad de Concepción, where she graduated as an English teacher. 2021 Chilean General Election
General elections were held in Chile on 21 November 2021, including presidential, parliamentary and regional elections.
