Christian De Portzamparc
Christian de Portzamparc (; born 5 May 1944) is a French architect and urbanist. He graduated from the École Nationale des Beaux Arts in Paris in 1970. His projects reflect a sensibility to their environment and to urbanism that is a founding principle of his work. In 1994, he was awarded the Pritzker Prize. Life and career De Portzamparc was born in Casablanca, Morocco in 1944, when it was French Morocco, a French protectorate to a family of Breton people, Breton French nobility, noble descent. He began studying architecture in 1962 at the École nationale supérieure des Beaux-Arts in Paris where he was influenced by professor Eugène Beaudouin, who "encouraged his taste for formal expressionism", and professor George Candilis, who "emphasized systematic work on grids and networks." Musée Bourdelle
The Musée Bourdelle (, ''Bourdelle Museum'') is an art museum located at 18, rue Antoine Bourdelle, in the 15th arrondissement of Paris, France, located in the old studio of French sculptor Antoine Bourdelle (1861–1929). The museum is open daily, except Mondays. Admission to the permanent collections is free. The nearest metro stations are Falguière and Montparnasse-Bienvenüe. The museum preserves the studio of sculptor Antoine Bourdelle and provides an example of Parisian ateliers from the late 19th and early 20th centuries. It was Bourdelle's active studio from 1885–1929. In 1922, Bourdelle began plans to turn his studio into a museum. In the early 1930s, Gabriel Cognacq provided funds to purchase the studio and thus avoid dispersing the artist's remaining works. Paris La Défense Arena
Paris La Défense Arena is a multipurpose Arena, indoor arena in Nanterre, a western suburb of Paris. Opened in October 2017, it was developed by the rugby union club Racing 92, and replaced Stade Olympique Yves-du-Manoir as their home. One57, formerly known as Carnegie 57, is a 75-story, supertall skyscraper at 157 West 57th Street (Manhattan), 57th Street between Sixth Avenue (Manhattan), Sixth and Seventh Avenue (Manhattan), Seventh Avenues in the Midtown Manhattan, Midtown neighborhood of Manhattan in New York City. The building has 92 condominium units above a 210-room Park Hyatt Hotel that serves as the flagship Hyatt property. LVMH Tower
The LVMH Tower is a 24-story high-rise office tower on 57th Street, near Madison Avenue, in Midtown Manhattan, New York City. Designed by Christian de Portzamparc, the building opened in 1999 as the overseas headquarters of Paris-based LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton SE. The building has received widespread praise from architecture critics.
