Christian Büttner
Christian Friedrich Johannes Büttner (; born 1 June 1979), known professionally as TheFatRat, is a German DJ, record producer and musician. His genre is often described as "glitch-hop." His 2016 extended play ''Jackpot'' reached 23 on the Billboard (magazine), Billboard Dance/Electronic Albums chart. He peaked at 15 on Billboard's Next Big Sound chart in February 2015. Music career Büttner originally aspired to become a classical conductor. He began producing music in 2001 under his real name. He began by making background music for television, radio and advertisements and produced music for DJs. In 2010, Büttner produced the song Mignon Mignon for René la Taupe, which became a number-one single in France. Around that time, he also produced the song "Audubon Ballroom" on Lupe Fiasco's album ''Food & Liquor II: The Great American Rap Album Pt. 1'', which charted at #5 on the Billboard 200, ''Billboard'' 200. Göttingen
Göttingen (, ; ; ) is a college town, university city in Lower Saxony, central Germany, the Capital (political), capital of Göttingen (district), the eponymous district. Top Dance Albums (formerly Top Electronic Albums and Top Dance/Electronic Albums) is a music chart published weekly by '' Billboard'' magazine which ranks the top-selling dance music albums in the United States based on sales compiled by Nielsen SoundScan. The chart debuted on the issue dated June 30, 2001 under the title Top Electronic Albums, with the first number-one title being the original soundtrack to the film ''Lara Croft: Tomb Raider''. It originally began as a fifteen-position chart and has since expanded to twenty-five positions. Electric Forest Festival
Electric Forest is a multi-genre music festival produced by Madison House Presents and Insomniac Events, with a focus on electronic music and jam band genres. Originally named Rothbury Festival in 2008, it is held in Rothbury, Michigan at the Double JJ Resort. Rothbury Music Festival took place in 2008 and 2009 and was on hiatus for 2010. In 2011, the event debuted under its current name, Electric Forest. The event was not held in 2020 or 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. An estimated 40,000 to 50,000 people attended the most recent festival in 2023. The 2025 festival will be the 13th Electric Forest. 2008 The Rothbury Music Festival took place on July 3–6.
