Christopher James Mazza (born October 17, 1989) is an American professional baseball pitcher who is a free agent. He has played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the New York Mets, Boston Red Sox, and Tampa Bay Rays. Listed at and , he throws and bats right-handed. Career Mazza attended Clayton Valley High School in Concord, California. He attended Menlo College in Atherton, California. Minnesota Twins Mazza was drafted by the Minnesota Twins in the 27th round of the 2011 MLB draft. He became the first player ever drafted out of Menlo College. Mazza spent time in the Twins organization from 2011 to 2015. During his time with them, he played for the GCL Twins, Elizabethton Twins, and Cedar Rapids Kernels. The Southern Maryland Blue Crabs are an American professional baseball team based in Waldorf, Maryland. They are members of the North Division of the Atlantic League of Professional Baseball, an independent "partner league" of Major League Baseball. The Pacific Association of Professional Baseball Clubs was an independent baseball league based in Northern California. The league was founded in 2013 by four former North American League teams. History During the initial season, two Hawaii-based teams, the Hawaii Stars and the Maui Warriors, played inter-league games against the Baseball Challenge League of Japan; California teams played against the Freedom Pro League of Arizona. The San Rafael Pacifics are a professional baseball team based in San Rafael, California, United States. They play in the Pecos League, an independent baseball league which is not affiliated with Major or Minor League Baseball. Prior to joining the Pecos League, they were a charter franchise of the six-team Pacific Association of Professional Baseball Clubs and were also members of the North American League in 2012. The New Orleans Baby Cakes (formerly the New Orleans Zephyrs) were a Minor League Baseball team in the Pacific Coast League (PCL) and the Triple-A affiliate of the Miami Marlins. They were located in Metairie, Louisiana, a suburb of New Orleans, and played their home games at the Shrine on Airline. The team began play in 1993 as a member of the Triple-A American Association (AA) when the Denver Zephyrs relocated to New Orleans. They joined the PCL in 1998. The Jupiter Hammerheads are a Minor League Baseball team of the Florida State League and the Single-A affiliate of the Miami Marlins. They are located in the town of Jupiter in Palm Beach County, Florida, and play their home games at Roger Dean Chevrolet Stadium. Opened in 1998, the park seats 6,871 people.
