Chris Elmore
Christopher Philip James Elmore (born 23 December 1983) is a Welsh Labour Party politician who has been the Member of Parliament (MP) for Bridgend, previously Ogmore, since 2016. He has been Comptroller of the Household (Government Whip) since 10 July 2024. Early life and career Christopher Elmore was born on 23 December 1983 in Newport and lived in Brynmawr and Caerphilly as a child. He started his working life as a trainee butcher and later attended Cardiff Metropolitan University completing a degree in History and Culture in 2005. Elmore then worked in a number of professions including further education. In 2008, Elmore was elected as a councillor for Casteland in the Vale of Glamorgan Council. Later he was appointed as a cabinet member for children's services and schools. Electoral Calculus is a political consultancy and pollster, known for its political forecasting website that attempts to predict future United Kingdom general election results. It uses MRP (Multi-level Regression and Post-stratification) to combine national factors and local demographics. Alun Cairns
Alun Hugh Cairns (born 30 July 1970) is a Welsh Conservative politician who served as the Member of Parliament (MP) for the Vale of Glamorgan from 2010 to 2024. He served as Secretary of State for Wales from 2016 to 2019. He was previously a member of the National Assembly for Wales for the South Wales West region from 1999 to 2011.
