''The Acolyte'', also known as ''Star Wars: The Acolyte'', is an American science fiction television series created by Leslye Headland for the streaming service Disney+. It is part of the ''Star Wars'' franchise, set at the end of the High Republic era before the events of the Skywalker Saga, and follows a Jedi investigation into a series of crimes. Amandla Stenberg, Lee Jung-jae, Charlie Barnett, Dafne Keen, Rebecca Henderson, Jodie Turner-Smith, Carrie-Anne Moss, Manny Jacinto, Dean-Charles Chapman, Joonas Suotamo, Margarita Levieva, Lauren Brady, Leah Brady, Harry Trevaldwyn, and David Harewood star in the series. David Harewood
David Michael Harewood (born 8 December 1965) is a British actor, presenter and the current president of the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art. He is best known for his roles as CIA Counterterrorism Director David Estes in ''Homeland'' (2011–2012), and as J'onn J'onzz / Martian Manhunter and Hank Henshaw / Cyborg Superman in ''Supergirl'' (2015–2021). James Friend
James Friend is a British cinematographer, best known for his work on Edward Berger's ''All Quiet on the Western Front (2022 film), All Quiet on the Western Front'', which earned him the Academy Award for Best Cinematography, in addition to the BAFTA Award for Best Cinematography. Kathleen Kennedy (producer)
Kathleen Kennedy (born June 5, 1953) is an American film producer who has been president of Lucasfilm since 2012. In 1981, Kennedy co-founded the production company Amblin Entertainment with Steven Spielberg and her eventual husband Frank Marshall. Her first film as a producer was '' E.T.'' (1982). A decade later, again with Spielberg, she produced the ''Jurassic Park'' franchise, the first two of which became two of the top ten highest-grossing films of the 1990s.
