Skywalker Saga
The ''Star Wars'' franchise involves multiple live-action and animated films. The series was initially created as a trilogy set ''in medias res'' (partway through the plot) that was later expanded into a trilogy of trilogies, known as the "Skywalker Saga". The original 1977 film ''Star Wars'' (later subtitled ''A New Hope'') was followed by the sequels '' The Empire Strikes Back'' (1980) and '' Return of the Jedi'' (1983); these films form the original trilogy. George Lucas
George Walton Lucas Jr. (born May 14, 1944) is an American filmmaker and philanthropist. He created the ''Star Wars'' and ''Indiana Jones'' franchises and founded Lucasfilm, LucasArts, Industrial Light & Magic and THX. Michelle Rejwan (born March 8, 1982) is an American film producer and the Senior Vice-president of Live Action Development and Production for Lucasfilm. She produced the ''Star Wars'' film '' The Rise of Skywalker'', alongside Kathleen Kennedy and J. J. Abrams.
