Chinna Jameen
''Chinna Jameen'' () is a 1993 Indian Tamil-language masala film directed by Raj Kapoor, starring Karthik and Sukanya. The film introduced former actress Vineetha in her Tamil and acting debut. It was released on 13 November 1993, Diwali day. Plot Rasaiya is brought up as an innocent man who suffers torture in the hands of his cruel uncle Rathnavel to get hold of his property for which Rasaiya is considered as the legal heir. He falls in love with Jothi; however, Rathnavel sets his henchman to molest and kill her. Sathya, who joins the village as a village administrative officer, turns out to be Jothi's sister who has arrived to avenge her sister's death. With the help of Rasaiya's friends, she transforms Rasaiya into a normal and strong person. In the end, Rasaiya kills Rathnavel and his henchmen and becomes a new heir to the palace. Raj Kapoor (Tamil Film Director)
Shahul Mohammed (born 15 August 1958), known professionally as Raj Kapoor, is an Indian film director and actor, who has worked predominantly in Tamil cinema. He has also appeared as a supporting actor in Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada films. Career Raj Kapoor started his cinema career as an assistant director to Film director C. V. Sridhar one of the legends of golden period of Tamil cinema. Later became an independent film director for '' Thalattu Ketkuthamma'' (1991). ''Kalki'' is a Tamil-language weekly magazine published from Chennai, India. The magazine was established by Kalki Krishnamurthy, a popular Tamil novelist and Indian freedom fighter, in 1941. T Sadasivam was the magazine's co-founder. The magazine is known for its publication of historic novels such as '' Ponniyin Selvan'' and '' Sivagamiyin Sabadham''. Singer Semmangudi Srinivasa Iyer, guru of M S Subbulakshmi, and music critic S V Seshadri were also involved with the magazine in its coverage of music. Mayamalavagowla (pronounced ) is a raga of Carnatic music (musical scale of South Indian classical music). It is classified as 15th '' melakarta'' raga under Venkatamakhin's '' melakarta'' system. Originally known as ''malavagowla'', "maya" was prefixed to it after the advent of the scheme of the 72 ''melas''. The number 15 was assigned to it following the Katapayadi sankhya system.
