Chilliwack Secondary is a public high school in Chilliwack, British Columbia part of School District 33 Chilliwack. The first ''Chilliwack Secondary'' was established in 1903. The school moved to its present site in 1950. It is finished construction converting it to a hybrid high school and community centre. The project was completed in 2013. Homer Thompson
Homer Armstrong Thompson (September 7, 1906 – May 7, 2000) was a Canadian classical archaeologist of the twentieth century, specializing in ancient Greece. While studying for his doctorate at the University of Michigan, Benjamin Dean Meritt (later a faculty member at the Institute for Advanced Study) would introduce Thompson to the project which would occupy him for the rest of his life. The American School of Classical Studies at Athens was about to begin the excavation of the agora in Athens and Thompson was selected as a fellow of the school to aid in the project. Knud George Pedersen, (born June 13, 1931) is a Canadian academic administrator. He was the president of Simon Fraser University (1979 to 1983), University of British Columbia (1983 to 1985), University of Western Ontario (1985 to 1994), interim president of the University of Northern British Columbia, and founding president of Royal Roads University (1995-). Jack McGaw
John Howard David "Jack" McGaw (May 22, 1936 – October 18, 2012) was a Canadian journalist and radio operator. He was a cohost of the consumer newsmagazine '' Live It Up!'' in the early 1980s, and subsequently produced and hosted freelance documentary programming. In the mid-1990s, McGaw launched a tourist information radio station on Vancouver Island. He subsequently moved to Halifax in 2001, and operated that city's CIRH-FM, and similar stations in the Information Radio network in locations across Canada. McGaw died of gallbladder cancer on October 18, 2012 in Kitchener, Ontario, at the age of 76.
