Loretta Goggi (; born 29 September 1950) is an Italian singer, actress, and television presenter. Goggi's records have sometimes entered the Italian pop charts. She was the first runner-up at the 1981 Sanremo Festival with the song " Maledetta primavera", her most famous pop hit. She co-founded the disco act ''Hermanas Goggi'' with her sister Daniela Goggi, who is also an artist. The duo found success in the Latin markets toward the end of the 1970s. Franca Evangelisti (born 6 April 1935) is an Italian lyricist and singer. Life and career Born in Rome, Evangelisti studied singing with composer . In the second half of the 1950s, she started her professional career as a singer with the stage name Evy Angeli. Anni-Frid Synni Lyngstad (born 15 November 1945), also known simply as Frida, is a Swedish singer who is best known as one of the founding members and lead singers of the pop band ABBA. Courtesy titles ''Principality of Reuss-Gera, Princess Reuss'' and ''Countess of Plauen'' are also in use because of her third marriage. Polar Music is a Swedish record company founded in 1963 by Stig Anderson and his friend Bengt Bernhag. Background The first act that Polar Music signed was the Hootenanny Singers featuring Björn Ulvaeus. Polar eventually gained prosperity producing Ulvaeus' next group, international superstars ABBA. As a small Scandinavian company based in Sweden, Polar could not afford to set up operations worldwide and was ABBA's record company only in the Scandinavian countries.
