''Ring Ring'' is the debut studio album by the Swedish group ABBA, initially credited as Björn & Benny, Agnetha & Frida. It was released in Scandinavia on 26 March 1973, and later in a limited number of other territories, including West Germany, Australia, South Africa and Mexico, through Polar Music. "Rock'n Roll Band" is a song originally released by Björn & Benny as the B-Side to their final single released in Japan, "Love Has Its Ways". The following year, the song was re-recorded by Swedish pop group ABBA (then credited as "Björn & Benny with Anna & Frida") for their debut album ''Ring Ring''. Background The previous Björn & Benny single released in Japan " En Carousel" did not repeat the success of " She’s My Kind Of Girl" in Japan. The representatives of the Japanese record company thought that they should contribute a Japanese melody for the duo to record, more akin to "She’s My Kind Of Girl". The Complete Studio Recordings (ABBA Album)
''The Complete Studio Recordings'' is a box set of all of the studio material released by the Swedish pop group ABBA. It was released on 7 November 2005 and consists of 9 CDs and 2 DVDs, plus a full color booklet with a timeline and photos. Another booklet containing complete lyrics to all of the music was also included. There is one CD for each of ABBA's 8 studio albums. These CDs also include bonus tracks in the form of non-album tracks and foreign language versions. The final CD contains additional rare tracks, including songs released after the group had disbanded. Of particular interest is the rare alternate mix of " Waterloo", which has never been available on CD before. The extended mono version of " On and On and On"—featuring an extra verse and previously only available as the soundtrack to the song's video—is also released on CD for the first time. Agneta Åse "Agnetha" Fältskog (; born 5 April 1950) is a Swedish singer, songwriter, and a former member of the pop group ABBA. She first achieved success in Sweden with the release of her 1968 Agnetha Fältskog (album), self-titled debut album. ''Thank You for the Music'' is a box set by the Swedish pop group ABBA, released on 31 October 1994. It consists of 66 tracks across four discs, with the first three discs including all of the band's singles from 1972–1982, many B-sides, and some album tracks in chronological order; while the fourth disc includes some rarities and some previously unreleased material, most notably the 23-and-a-half minute long medley "ABBA Undeleted", which includes the track " Just a Notion", later released as part of '' Voyage'' in 2021. "She's My Kind of Girl" is a song written and performed by Benny Andersson and Björn Ulvaeus, who were later famous as members of ABBA. Written for the Swedish movie ''Inga II: The Seduction Of Inga'', the song was recorded in November/December 1969, most likely at Europa Film Studios. The ''Spin Alternative Record Guide'' is a music reference book compiled by the American music magazine ''Spin (magazine), Spin'' and published in 1995 by Vintage Books. It was editing, edited by the rock music, rock critic Eric Weisbard and Craig Marks, who was the magazine's editor-in-chief at the time. The book has essays and reviews from a number of prominent critics on albums, artists and genres considered relevant to the alternative rock, alternative music movement. The book did not sell particularly well and received a mixed reaction from reviewers in 1995.
