Chernivtsi Border Detachment
The Chernivtsi Border Detachment "Major-General Oleksandr Pylkevich" (2195) is a brigade level detachment of the Western Regional Department of the State Border Service of Ukraine. The detachment guards the Ukraine-Moldova border and the Ukraine-Romania border in three Raions (Vyzhnytsia Raion, Chernivtsi Raion and Dnistrovskyi Raion) of Chernivtsi Oblast, one Raion (Verkhovyna Raion) of the Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast as well as guarding the Ivano-Frankivsk Airport and Chernivtsi International Airport. The total border guarded by the detachment is 404.7km of which Ukrainian-Romanian section is 234.7km and the Ukrainian-Moldovan section is 170km. Chernivtsi Raion
Chernivtsi Raion () is a raion (district) of Chernivtsi Oblast, Ukraine. It was created on 18 July 2020 as part of the reform of administrative divisions of Ukraine. Most of its territory is located in the historical region of Bukovina, while the southeastern parts are in Bessarabia, and the Hertsa region. The center of the raion is the city of Chernivtsi. Chernivtsi Leonid Kadeniuk International Airport () is an airport in the city of Chernivtsi in western Ukraine.
