Biography Born Chen Yaling (陳雅玲) in 1970 in Taichung, she was awarded a Bachelor of Arts degree in Chinese from National Central University in 1993. Her first book was published in 1995. It is ''Enü shu'' (Chinese: 惡女書 ; lit. "Book of a Demon"), a collection of four short stories, the best known of which is ''Xunzhao tianshi de chibang'' (尋找天使遺失的翅膀, "In Search of the Lost Wings of Angels"), which has become a classic of tongzhi literature. Taichung (, Wade–Giles: '), officially Taichung City, is a special municipality (Taiwan), special municipality in central Taiwan. Qiu Miaojin
Qiu Miaojin (; 29 May 1969 – 25 June 1995), also romanized as Chiu Miao-chin, was a Taiwanese novelist. She is best known for her 1994 novel '' Notes of a Crocodile''. Qiu's works are "frequently cited as classics", and her unapologetically lesbian sensibility has had a profound and lasting influence on LGBT literature in Taiwan. Biography Originally from Changhua County in western Taiwan, Qiu attended the prestigious Taipei First Girls' High School and National Taiwan University, where she graduated with a major in psychology. She worked as a counselor and later as a reporter at the weekly magazine '' The Journalist''. In 1994, she moved to Paris where she pursued graduate studies in clinical psychology and feminism at University of Paris VIII, studying with philosopher Hélène Cixous. Qiu died by suicide at age 26. Chi Ta-wei (, born February 3, 1972) is a Taiwanese writer. Life Chi Ta-wei was born in Taichung, Taiwan in 1972. He received B.A. and M.A. in the Department of Foreign Languages and Literatures (locally known as "Waiwenxi" at National Taiwan University (NTU, locally known asTaida).
