Chelsey Perry
Chelsey Perry (born June 7, 1999) is an American basketball player who is currently a free agent. She played college basketball at UT Martin. Early life Perry attended Middleton High School in Middleton, Tennessee. Perry was named a TSWA Class A All-State Honoree twice. During her senior year, she averaged 13.0 ppg, 12.0 rpg, 4.7 bpg, 2.3 spg, and 1.8 apg. She was named Most Valuable player during her sophomore season, as the Lady Tigers went 35–0 on their way to a State Championship. She was also a part of a Lady Tiger team that won 67 straight games. College Following her high school career, Perry continued to play basketball at UT-Martin. Freshman During her freshman season, Perry made an instant impact on the Skyhawks team. Middleton, Tennessee
Middleton is a city in Hardeman County, Tennessee, United States. The population was 706 at the 2010 census, up from 602 at the 2000 census. It is located at the intersection of Tennessee State Route 125 and Tennessee State Route 57. Its slogan is the "Crossroads of the South". History It is believed that early settlers in Middleton came from Slab Town, a small settlement about north. The town was originally called "Jenkins-McCommons Crossing", after Jesse Jenksins and William Taylor McCommons. UT Martin Skyhawks Women's Basketball
The UT Martin Skyhawks women's basketball team is the team that represents the University of Tennessee at Martin in Martin, Tennessee, United States. The school's team currently competes in the Ohio Valley Conference. History Since beginning play in 1969, the Skyhawks have an all-time record of 578-687, per the end of the 2015-16 season. They appeared in the inaugural AIAW women's basketball tournament in 1972, beating Long Beach State 53-43 in the First Round before losing to Mississippi University for Women state college 43-25. Indiana Fever
The Indiana Fever are an American professional basketball team based in Indianapolis, playing in the Eastern Conference in the Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA). The team was founded before the 2000 season began. The team is owned by Herb Simon, who also owns the Fever's NBA counterpart, the Indiana Pacers, and Simon Malls. The Fever has qualified for the WNBA Playoffs in 13 of its 21 seasons in Indiana. Some of the players who have helped define the history of the Fever include the American players Tamika Catchings, Katie Douglas, and Tully Bevilaqua from Australia. The 2021 WNBA season was the 25th season of the Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA). The Seattle Storm were the defending champions. 2021 Indiana Fever Season
The 2021 Indiana Fever season was the franchise's 22nd season in the Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA). The regular season tipped off on May 14, 2021 at the New York Liberty. The Fever started the season by losing four games before winning their first game on May 23. The team then went on a twelve game losing streak, which included going 0–8 during the month of June. However, before the Olympic break, the Fever won three straight games, to end the first portion of the season with a 4–16 record. They lost the first two games in August coming out of the Olympic break, but won two of the next three.
