Chelsey Glasson
Chelsey Glasson (born 1982 or 1983) is an American user researcher, author, and workers' rights advocate. She sued Google, her former employer, for pregnancy discrimination, which ended in an undisclosed settlement after two years of litigation. She has successfully lobbied for pregnancy anti-discrimination and labor rights laws in Washington State. Her memoir, ''Black Box: A Pregnancy Discrimination Memoir'', was published in 2023. She enrolled in law school in 2024. Education and early life Glasson was born in Ogallala, Nebraska. She comes from a large Family farm on father's side. Her mother is a social worker. Her family moved to Everett, Washington when she was young near her mother's family and her father's job at Boeing. After the move, her parents divorced. Zephyr Cove, Nevada
Zephyr Cove is a community and census-designated place (CDP) in Douglas County, Nevada, United States. The population was 565 at the 2010 census. Prior to 2010 it was part of the Zephyr Cove–Round Hill Village CDP. History Before Zephyr Cove was established, the Native American Washoe people lived around the area. The first Anglo-American settlers to encounter the area were Kit Carson and John Fremont in 1844. In 1862, Anglo-Americans settled around the community. They named the community Zephyr Cove, which was named after the Washoe Zephyr. A post office called Zephyr Cove has been in operation since 1930. The Miss Washington competition is the pageant that selects the representative for the state of Washington in the Miss America pageant. Hermona Girmay of Seattle was crowned Miss Washington 2024 on July 6, 2024, at the Capital High School Performing Arts Center in Olympia. She competed for the title of Miss America 2025. Snohomish High School
Snohomish High School (SHS) is a secondary school located in the Snohomish School District, in Snohomish, Washington, United States. SHS, built for 1200 students, contains 1,565 9th–12th graders (as of 2022–23). The school serves primarily those students living north of the Snohomish River (nearby Glacier Peak High School, serving those students living south of the river). History Before SHS actually opened it was a courthouse with a small jail section underneath. SHS first opened in 1894 at the completion of the original A building. The school underwent many remodels through the 1980s, including changes to the B building.
