Chekkeranoru Chilla
''Chekkeran Oru Chilla'' () is a 1986 Indian Malayalam-language drama film directed by Sibi Malayil, written by Priyadarshan, and produced by Shankar. It is a remake of the 1981 Bengali film ''Saheb''. The film stars Shankar, along with Bharath Gopi, Ambika, and Nedumudi Venu. The film has musical score by Shyam. Plot Unni is a promising football goalkeeper and he aims to be in the national team. He is often criticised by family members for not taking care of his family, completing his education, or making money. His sister gets a good marriage proposal, but his father does not have the financial means to fund the marriage. His sisters and brothers are stingy with money. His elder brother's wife tries to help but it doesn't help much. Unni as an unemployed youth takes responsibility in ways opportunity opens for him and that forms the climax. Sukumari Amma (6 October 1940 – 26 March 2013) was an Indian actress best known for her works in Malayalam and Tamil films. In a career spanning more than five decades, She has appeared in more than 2500 films predominantly in Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, along with few Hindi and one each in Sinhala, French, Italian, Bengali, Tulu, English and Kannada films. Sukumari began acting at the age of 10. In 2003, she was awarded the Padma Shri by the Government of India for her contributions toward the arts. Parakkulathil Vatsala (28 August 1939 – 21 November 2023) was an Indian Malayalam novelist, short story writer, and social activist from Kerala. She is a recipient of Ezhuthachan Puraskaram 2021, the highest literary honour by the government of Kerala. She is only the fifth woman to receive the award since its institution in 1993. Shanthakumari Nambiar, known by her stage name Seema, is an Indian actress known for her work in Malayalam cinema. Actor Vijayan gave her the screen name "Seema". Career Seema began her career in Tamil film at the age of 18 as a dancer. She debuted as an actress in director Lisa Baby's ''Nizhale Nee Sakshi'', but this film was shelved.
