Charles Mooney
Charles Michael "Charlie" Mooney (born January 27, 1951) is a retired boxer from the United States, who won the silver medal in the bantamweight (– 54 kg) division at the 1976 Summer Olympics in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. There he lost by decision in the final by North Korea's Gu Yong-Ju. Mooney is married to Dara Mooney and has two daughters, Lanette and Charkeena, and one son, Charles Jr. seven grand children, four boys and three girls. He was a three-time All Army champion, three-time inter-service champion, won a silver medal in Pan Am trials and took bronze and silver medals at the AAU nationals. In the US Army at the time, he did not turn professional. Mooney made the Army his career, and retired with 22 years active service, ending August 29, 1992, with the rank of Sergeant First Class. Chris Byrd
Christopher Cornelius Byrd (born August 15, 1970) is an American former professional boxer who competed from 1993 to 2009. He is a two-time world heavyweight champion, having first won the WBO title in 2000 after an upset corner stoppage over then-undefeated Vitali Klitschko. In his first title defense later that year, he lost to Vitali's brother Wladimir Klitschko. In 2002, Byrd defeated Evander Holyfield to win the IBF heavyweight title for his second reign as world champion. He made four successful defenses until losing his title again to Wladimir Klitschko in a 2006 rematch. Corey Sanders
Corey Sanders (born March 7, 1975) is an American boxing trainer and former professional boxer. Known as "T-Rex", Sanders' most notable victory came in an upset knockout against future WBC world champion Oleg Maskaev in 2002, which temporarily derailed Maskaev's plans of fighting for a title. Sanders' other notable opponents included Michael Grant, Andrew Golota, DaVarryl Williamson and Timo Hoffmann. William Joppy
William Torelle Joppy (born September 11, 1970) is an American former professional boxer who competed from 1993 to 2011, and held the WBA middleweight title three times between 1996 and 2003. Professional career Joppy won his first of three WBA middleweight titles in June 1996 by stopping defender Shinji Takehara in Japan with a flurry of punches in the ninth round. He then would make a couple defenses of his crown. However, on August 23, 1997, Joppy lost a decision to Julio César Green. Joppy's very next fight, on January 31 of the next year, saw him avenge that loss with a decision win by a wide margin. This fight won Joppy the WBA title for the second time. Simon Brown (born August 15, 1963, in Clarendon, Jamaica) is a former professional boxer. Known as "Mantequilla", a name given to him by his famous trainer Jose 'Pepe' Correa, Brown was two-weight world champion in the welterweight and light-middleweight divisions, and at one point considered one of the best pound-for-pound fighters in boxing.
