The 2011 International GT Open season was the sixth season of the International GT Open, the grand tourer-style sports car racing founded in 2006 by the Spanish GT Sport Organización. It began on 30 April at Autodromo Enzo e Dino Ferrari and finished on 30 October, at Circuit de Catalunya after eight double-header meetings. The season was won by JMB Racing driver Soheil Ayari, who raced on the Ferrari F458 GT2. He also won the Super GT standings. Lorenzo Bontempelli and Stefano Gattuso, who raced behind the wheel of Kessel Racing's Ferrari 430 GT3 Scuderia won the GTS class. The 2010 Auto GP Series was the twelfth season of the former Euroseries 3000, and the first under its new name "Auto GP". The main sponsor of the series was PartyPoker.it. The series used the same Lola B05/52 chassis that the A1 Grand Prix series used between 2005 and 2008. The 2010 Superleague Formula season was the third Superleague Formula championship. The series was rebranded "Superleague Formula by Sonangol Group, Sonangol", due to a two-year deal that began in 2009 Superleague Formula season, the previous season. The 2008 Spanish Formula Three Championship was the eighth Spanish Formula Three Championship season. It commenced on May 3, 2008 and ended on November 2. The Spanish driver Germán Sánchez was crowned champion, two points ahead of runner-up Nelson Panciatici, who was driving an older 'B-class' car. The title was decided in favour of Sánchez and Natacha Gachnang after the resolution of various claims. Panciatici was disqualified for using duct tape on the wings of the car, a common technique in this championship, which does not influence the behavior of the vehicle or guarantee any improvement according to a press release from Hache Team.
