2010 Auto GP Series
The 2010 Auto GP Series was the twelfth season of the former Euroseries 3000, and the first under its new name "Auto GP". The main sponsor of the series was PartyPoker.it. The series used the same Lola B05/52 chassis that the A1 Grand Prix series used between 2005 and 2008. Despite missing the first two rounds of the season due to his commitments in the FIA GT1 World Championship, DAMS driver Romain Grosjean claimed the championship title, taking four victories and seven podiums in total from the eight races he contested. DAMS drivers also took second and third places in the championship standings, as consistent finishes for Edoardo Piscopo and Duncan Tappy – neither driver won any of the races held – helped them into their final placings. Auto GP
Auto GP, sometimes referred to as the Auto GP World Series and formerly known as both Euro Formula 3000 and the Euroseries 3000, was a European formula racing series. The series' roots can be traced back to 1999 and the Italian Formula 3000 series, organised by Pierluigi Corbari, which used old Lola chassis with Zytek engines. The teams used the Lola T96/50 in the first two years. At the beginning nearly all races were held in Italy, but very quickly the series expanded and had venues in different European countries. Fabrizio Crestani
Fabrizio Crestani (born 17 December 1987) is an Italian racing driver. Career Having competed in karts until 2005, Crestani moved up to the Formula Junior 1600 Italia championship, finishing in 4th place in the championship, driving for PSR Motorsport. Crestani had one win and finished behind Pasquale Di Sabatino, Mihai Marinescu and Jaime Alguersuari in the championship. He also made his debut in the Italian Formula Three Championship for Corbetta Competizioni at the final round at the Misano World Circuit. Having qualified 7th for both races, Fabrizio recorded a sixth and a seventh from the two races, allowing him to finish 13th in the championship. Trident Racing
Trident Motorsport (formerly known as Trident Racing) is a motor racing team that competes in Open-wheel car, single-seater formula racing. It was founded in 2006 in order to compete in the GP2 Series, GP2 championship, which was Europe's second highest-ranking single-seater formula below Formula One. Jake Rosenzweig
Jake Rosenzweig (born April 14, 1989 in London) is an English-born American former racing driver. Career Karting Much of Rosenzweig's early karting career was contested in the United Kingdom, with him competing in Super 1 karting championships. In 2001, Rosenzweig finished fifth in the Cadet Championship, having been outside the top thirty positions the previous season. 2002 saw Rosenzweig step up to JICA karts, again competing in the Super 1 championship, staying there for two seasons with an additional shot at the Andrea Margutti Trophy in 2004. After a season out in 2005, Rosenzweig moved up to ICA karts for the 2006 season. Giorgio Pantano
Giorgio Pantano (born 4 February 1979) is an Italian former professional racing driver who drove for the Jordan Grand Prix, Jordan Formula One team for much of the 2004 Formula One season, 2004 season before being replaced by Timo Glock. He also raced in International Formula 3000, Formula 3000. He retired from racing at the end of 2014. Jonathan Ross Reid, more commonly known as Jonny Reid, (born 18 October 1983 in Auckland) is a New Zealand racing driver. Career Early career Reid started his career in karting at the age of 8. Jan Charouz (born 17 July 1987) is a Czech former auto racing driver. Alexander George Oliver Sims (born 15 March 1988, in London) is a British people, British professional racing driver, currently competing in the IMSA SportsCar Championship for Corvette Racing by Pratt Miller Motorsports. Walter Grubmüller
Walter Grubmüller (born 13 January 1989 in Vienna) is an Austrian racing driver. Career Karting Beginning his karting career in his native Austria in 2000, Grubmüller did not move up into the major international series until 2002, with an appearance at the South Garda Winter Cup. Competing in the ICA Junior class in 2003, Grubmüller finished seventh in the European Championship, and finished tied 24th with Luxembourg's Samuel Curridor, in the Italian Open Masters.
