Celldweller (album)
''Celldweller'' is the first studio album by the American electronic rock project Celldweller, released in 2003. The album spent one week on the ''Billboard'' Top Internet Albums chart, at number 17, and was awarded Album of the Year at the Just Plain Folks Music Awards. Guest appearances include Jarrod Montague of Taproot. The album was re-released on 10 June 2013 in celebration of the 10th anniversary of the original release. A definitive edition was released on 16 February 2024 in celebration of the 20th anniversary of the original release. Background Klayton worked in earnest with the producer Grant Mohrman (formerly of Leaderdogs for the Blind and Full on the Mouth) on the album, which was scheduled for release in February 2001. There had been several questions about any Celldweller songs to be released. Celldweller is an electronic rock project by American multi-musician Klayton. Celldweller's songs have been featured in many films, movie trailers, television shows and video games. Career Precursors: Circle of Dust and Angeldust (1992–1999) The name Celldweller was derived from a nickname his mother gave him when he was a teenager, dubbed "Cellar Dweller", as he made all of his music in his parents' basement. Klayton had gained a devoted cult following in the mid 90s because of his industrial metal band Circle of Dust. Drumcorps is the metal/breakcore musical project of American musician Aaron Spectre. He is currently based in Amsterdam, Netherlands. Spectre was born and raised in rural Massachusetts. The Browning
The Browning is an American electronicore band formed in Kansas City, Missouri in 2005. The band's musical style is characterized by an eclectic blending of electronicore and deathcore. The group currently consists of vocalist Jonny McBee, drummer Brandon Funera, and bassist/guitarist Akeem Bivens. They are currently signed to FiXT. The band has released six studio albums and two EPs. History Formed in early 2005, The Browning was originally a solo project of Jonny Mcbee. Later, the rapper Matt Keck joined the project. Blue Stahli is an American electronic rock music project by Bret Autrey. Blue Stahli has released nine studio albums (four of which are instrumental) and his music has appeared in a number of movie trailers, shows and games. Additionally, he composes music for video games. History Precursors and VOXiS (1997–2006) Autrey started music at a young age, learning through the use of an old beat up piano he had rescued from a dump. He worked through 3 years of piano lessons, by mimicking his neighbor and playing the melodies by ear. Styles of Beyond was an American underground hip hop group from the San Fernando Valley of Los Angeles, California. "Tragedy" is a song released by the Bee Gees, written by Barry, Robin & Maurice Gibb, and included on their fifteenth album, ''Spirits Having Flown'' (1979). ''Wish Upon a Blackstar'' is the second vocal studio album (third overall) from the American electronic rock project Celldweller. While it had been a work in progress since 2004, finalized songs were not issued until mid-2009. The full album was released on June 12, 2012. Full on the Mouth, Grant Mohrman, producer of the Celldweller (album), debut Celldweller album, returned to co-produce the album with Klayton. Production Klayton began to work on the album in 2004, and it was originally slated for release in 2006, though it was ultimately delayed numerous times. ''Tap Tap Revenge'' (also known as ''Tap Tap Revenge Classic'') was a music game created by Nate True, and developed and published by Tapulous for iOS in July 2008. It is the first game in Tapulous' ''Tap Tap'' series. Development for the game began prior to the release of the iPhone SDK, and was originally entitled ''Tap Tap Revolution''. The goal of the game is to tap each of the colored balls when they reach a line at the bottom of the screen. If the ball is hit on the beat, the player gains points, but if not, it counts as a miss. There are also "shakes", which require the player to move the iPhone, iPod Touch or iPad (although the game was designed for the former two) to the right, left, or middle.
