Cecilia Robinson (entrepreneur)
Cecilia Robinson (born 1985), originally from Sweden, is a New Zealand entrepreneur and founder of the My Food Bag business. Biography Robinson grew up in Sweden and moved to the United States to work as a nanny before making a trip to New Zealand to visit her brother, who was living there. She stayed and enrolled to study law at the University of Auckland, but dropped out to start an online nanny website, Au Pair Link. The business quickly grew to be the biggest au pair company in Australasia. Robinson sold the company in 2014. In late 2012, Robinson and her husband James established My Food Bag with former Telecom CEO Theresa Gattung, celebrity chef Nadia Lim, and Lim's husband Carlos Bagrie. The business was launched in March 2013. The founding team sold 70% of the company to Waterman Capital in 2016 and appointed new CEO Kevin Bowler mid 2018. Theresa Gattung
Theresa Gattung is a New Zealand businessperson and the former chief executive of Telecom New Zealand (1993–2007). Early life Gattung was born in Wellington, the eldest of four daughters. She was educated at McKillop College, Rotorua, the University of Waikato (graduating with a Bachelor of Management Studies in marketing) and Victoria University of Wellington (graduating with a Bachelor of Laws). Career Gattung worked in senior marketing roles at National Mutual and at the Bank of New Zealand before taking up a similar role at Telecom New Zealand. Nadia Rui-chi Lim (born 21 December 1985) is a New Zealand celebrity chef, entrepreneur, food writer and television personality. Lim is known as the self-proclaimed "Nude Cook" as an advocate of natural, unprocessed foods, and for creating healthy, nutritious recipes by putting a health focus behind food, which is influenced by her background as a clinical dietitian. Early life and education Lim is of New Zealander and Chinese-Malaysian heritage and was born in Auckland to Julie and Ken Lim. The New Zealand Women of Influence Awards are an annual set of awards which recognise women who make a difference to everyday New Zealanders' lives. The Awards were first made in 2013 and were initially sponsored by Westpac Bank. In 2016, Stuff NZ became a joint sponsor. Nominations are invited from the public. A panel selects finalists in each category, who are invited to an awards dinner at the Aotea Centre in Auckland where the recipients are announced.
