Ceasar C. Mitchell (born 1968), is an American politician and attorney who served as President of Atlanta City Council from 2010 to 2018. He was an unsuccessful candidate in the 2017 Atlanta mayoral election. Early life and education Mitchell is a native of Atlanta, Georgia (U.S. state), Georgia. His father was an Atlanta Police Department officer and his mother taught in the Atlanta Public Schools. Mitchell graduated from Benjamin Elijah Mays High School. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Morehouse College, where he double-majored in English and economics. He then earned a Juris Doctor from the University of Georgia School of Law. Career Prior to his election as president of the Atlanta City Council, Mitchell was a council member for eight years. Caesar Perkins (March 1839 – September 22, 1910) was a member of the Virginia General Assembly, elected in both 1869 and 1887. He represented Buckingham County as a Republican. Early life Caesar Perkins was born into slavery in March 1839. His name is sometimes rendered as Ceasar Perkins. His parents' names were Joseph and Clarcy Mosely, but he used the name "Perkins" because it was the name of his master. It is not known how Perkins was freed from slavery. He was a Baptist minister. Political career In 1869, Perkins was elected to the Virginia General Assembly, and he was elected again in 1887; in both cases, he represented Buckingham County. In his first election, he defeated candidates from the Conservative Party. He was a Republican. The Ceasars is a group of three Italian music producers: Paolo "Ceasar" Catoni, Marco "PStarr" Pistella and Francesco Rigon. History The trio was originally known (until 2012) as Ceasars Productions and their production is divided between Italy and the United States. In the United States, they have cooperated with various hip hop artists such as Styles P, B.G. and Jadakiss, and R&B artists such as Avery Storm. Camelia Ceasar (born 13 December 1997) is a Romanian professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for Italian Serie A club AS Roma and the Romania women's national team. Early life Ceasar was born in Bacău, Romania, on 13 December 1997. Her family chose to move to Italy when Ceasar was five years old, and she took up an interest in football soon after settling in Italy. Sherita T. Ceasar is the Senior Vice President of Technology Environment and Strategy for Comcast Communications and has worked in the telecommunications industry since 1988. She was the first African American president of the Society of Women Engineers, a position she held from 1999 to 2000.
