Max Cavalera
Massimiliano Antonio "Max" Cavalera (; born 4 August 1969) is a Brazilian musician. He co-founded the Heavy metal music, heavy metal band Sepultura in 1984 with his brother Igor Cavalera, and was the band's lead singer and rhythm guitarist until his departure in 1997. He currently plays in the heavy metal bands Soulfly, Cavalera Conspiracy, Killer Be Killed and Go Ahead and Die. Cavalera was also involved in a short-lived side project called Nailbomb. Career and influences Max Cavalera's father, Graziano Cavalera, was an employee of the Italian Consulate in Belo Horizonte. He died at 41 years of age, when Max was nine years old. Cavalera's family was in a state of financial crisis and family turbulence when he formed Sepultura with his younger brother Igor Cavalera, Igor, in the bohemian neighborhood of Santa Tereza in Belo Horizonte. Igor Cavalera
Igor Graziano Cavalera (born 4 September 1970) is a Brazilian musician, best known as the former drummer for the heavy metal band Sepultura, which he co-founded with his brother Max in 1984. Max left the band in 1997, and Igor himself would depart nine years later, making him the last original member of Sepultura to leave the band. The brothers have since reunited in the band Cavalera Conspiracy. He has played in the bands Nailbomb and Strife. As his hip-hop influences grew stronger, he began to DJ. Cavalera is one half of DJ duo Mixhell, a project he founded with his wife Laima Leyton. In 2016, Soulwax introduced a new live show entitled "Soulwax Transient Program For Drums And Machinery", for which the new line up included Cavalera as one of three drummers (along with Victoria Smith and Blake Davies) as well as Igor's wife Laima Leyton (of Mixhell) on synths and backing vocals. Incite (band)
Incite is an American groove/thrash metal band from Phoenix, Arizona, formed in 2004. It consists of Richie Cavalera (vocals), Christopher "EL" Elsten (bass), Lennon Lopez (drums), and Mike DeLeon (guitar). Frontman Richie Cavalera is best known as the stepson of Max Cavalera, formerly of Sepultura and currently a member of the bands Soulfly and Cavalera Conspiracy. Zyon Cavalera (born January 19, 1993) is an American musician who is the current drummer for metal bands Soulfly and Lody Kong. He is the son of ex-Sepultura and current Soulfly frontman Max Cavalera. Background Zyon Cavalera was born on January 19, 1993. His father Max added his in utero heartbeat into the beginning of the 1993 Sepultura song " Refuse/Resist" from their album '' Chaos A.D.''. Nadia Cavalera
Nadia Cavalera (born 20 September 1950 in Galatone, Lecce) is an Italian novelist, poet and literary critic. Cavalera attended the Liceo Classico "Palmieri" de Lecce and earned a bachelor's degree in Philosophy in the Università di Lecce, with the thesis "Democrazia e socialismo nel giovane Marx". She started her political activity in PCI when she was 20 years old. She worked in Brindisi for 12 years and since 1988, she has lived and worked as a teacher in Modena.
