Catherine Hiegel
Catherine Hiegel (born 10 December 1946) is a French actress, comedian and director. Personal life Catherine Hiegel is the daughter of Pierre Hiegel, radio host, music critic, radio producer and artistic director of French houses of discs. She is also the niece of Pierre Bellemare. Career At ten, she played Cosette in a radio adaptation of Les Misérables, where her father played Jean Valjean. She sang in 1956 with André Claveau, ''Viens danser avec papa''. On the advice of her father, she stopped school to learn comedy. She took lessons with Raymond Girard and Jacques Charon, and began her career on stage to the Théâtre des Bouffes-Parisiens with Cactus Flower, alongside Jean Poiret and Sophie Desmarets. She joined the French National Academy of Dramatic Arts in the classes of Jean Marchat then Lise Delamare, and also attended classes of Jean-Laurent Cochet. She joined the Comédie-Française in 1969. Montreuil (), sometimes unofficially referred to as Montreuil-sous-Bois (), is a commune in the eastern suburbs of Paris, France. It is located from the centre of Paris in Seine-Saint-Denis. Jean-Paul Roussillon (5 March 1931 – 31 July 2009) was a French actor. He appeared in more than 80 films and television shows between 1954 and 2008. ''The Game of Love and Chance'' (french: Le Jeu de l'amour et du hasard) is a three-act romantic comedy by French playwright Marivaux. ''The Game of Love and Chance'' was first performed 23 January 1730 by the Comédie Italienne. In this play, a young woman is visited by her betrothed, whom she does not know. To get a better idea of the type of person he is, she trades places with her servant and disguises herself. However, unbeknownst to her, her fiancé has the same idea and trades places with his valet. The "game" pits the two false servants against the two false masters, and in the end, the couples fall in love with their appropriate counterpart. ''The Imaginary Invalid'', ''The Hypochondriac'', or ''The Would-Be Invalid'' (French title ''Le Malade imaginaire'', ) is a three- act '' comédie-ballet'' by the French playwright Molière with dance sequences and musical interludes (H.495, H.495 a, H.495 b) by Marc-Antoine Charpentier. It premiered on 10 February 1673 at the Théâtre du Palais-Royal in Paris and was originally choreographed by Pierre Beauchamp. Molière had fallen out with the powerful court composer Jean-Baptiste Lully, with whom he had pioneered the ''comédie-ballet'' form a decade earlier, and had opted for the collaboration with Charpentier. Marc Camoletti (16 November 1923 – 18 July 2003) was a French playwright best known for the farce '' Boeing-Boeing''. Early life Camoletti was born a French citizen in Geneva, Switzerland, though his family had Italian origins. Jean-Pierre Grédy, often anglicised as Gredy (16 August 1920 – 6 February 2022) was a French playwright. Biography After studying literature and law, Grédy entered IDHEC because he wanted to write screenplays. He wrote the screenplay for the film '' Julie de Carneilhan'', based on a 1941 novel by the French writer Colette, directed by Jacques Manuel and starring Edwige Feuillère. He then met Pierre Barillet with whom he wrote "for fun" ''Le Don d'Adèle'', which was an unexpected success, exceeding a thousand performances and receiving the Tristan-Bernard prize. Over the next several decades, Grédy and Barillet wrote more than 20 plays together.
