Carson Kvapil
Carson Wade Kvapil (born May 22, 2003) is an American professional stock car racing driver. He competes full-time in the CARS Late Model Stock Tour, driving the No. 8 Chevrolet Camaro for JR Motorsports and part-time in the NASCAR Xfinity Series, driving the No. 88 Chevrolet Camaro for JR Motorsports. He is also part of the Drivers Edge Development program and is the son of 2003 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series champion Travis Kvapil and older brother of Super Late Model driver Caden Kvapil. Racing career In 2017, Kvapil ran in select events in the Southeast Limited Late Model Series as well as the Challenger Division. It was in the latter series where he won in two of three starts in the division that years, with those wins coming at Dillon Motor Speedway and Florence Motor Speedway. Martinsville Speedway
Martinsville Speedway is a NASCAR-owned stock car racing short track in Ridgeway, Virginia, just south of Martinsville. At in length, it is the shortest track in the NASCAR Cup Series. The track was also one of the first paved oval tracks in stock car racing, being built in 1947 by partners H. Clay Earles, Henry Lawrence, and Sam Rice, nearly a year before NASCAR was officially formed. It is also the only race track that has been on the NASCAR circuit from its beginning in 1948. Along with this, Martinsville is the only oval track on the NASCAR circuit to have asphalt surfaces on the straightaways and concrete to cover the turns. Layout The track is often referred to as paper clip-shaped and is banked only 12° in the turns. 2023 Sioux Chief Fast Track 150
The 2023 Sioux Chief Fast Track 150 was the 17th stock car race of the 2023 ARCA Menards Series season, and the 23rd iteration of the event. The race was held on Friday, September 8, 2023, in Kansas City, Kansas at Kansas Speedway, a 1.5 miles (2.4 km) permanent quad-oval shaped racetrack. The race took the scheduled 100 laps to complete. In a wild race that saw only two drivers finish on the lead lap, Connor Mosack, driving for Joe Gibbs Racing, would dominate the final portion of the race, and earned his first career ARCA Menards Series win. Mosack would lead a race-high 64 laps in dominating fashion. Dover Motor Speedway
Dover Motor Speedway (formerly Dover Downs International Speedway and later Dover International Speedway) is a race track in Dover, Delaware. The track has hosted at least one NASCAR Cup Series race each year since 1969, including two per year from 1971 to 2020. In addition to NASCAR, the track also hosted USAC and the Indy Racing League.
