Amanda Carreras (born 16 May 1990) is a British tennis player from Gibraltar. Carreras has won 11 singles and 15 doubles titles on the ITF Circuit. On 24 April 2017, she reached her best singles ranking of world No. 236, and peaked at No. 279 in the doubles rankings. Due to Carreras winning her first two singles and doubles titles back-to-back, the ITF website wrote a "''Spotlight On…''" article on Carreras in May 2009. Lluís Carreras
Lluís Carreras Ferrer (born 24 September 1972) is a Spanish retired footballer who played mostly as a left back but also as a defensive midfielder, currently a manager. He started his professional career with Barcelona, without much success, and went on to amass La Liga totals of 169 matches and eight goals in representation of six other clubs. He added 149 games and 25 goals in Segunda División, over six seasons. After retiring, Carreras became a coach and guided Sabadell to promotion to Segunda División in his first full season. After three years there, he also managed Mallorca, Zaragoza and Gimnàstic de Tarragona, all of them in the Spanish second tier. Tomàs Carreras i Artau (1879 in Girona – 1954 in Barcelona) was a Catalonia, Catalan philosopher, ethnologist and politician. Life and career Tomàs Carreras was ethics professor in the University of Barcelona from 1912 until 1949. He set up the ''Archive of Ethnography and Folklore of Catalonia''. Moreover, he was member of the Academy of Good Letters of Barcelona. Together with Jaume Serra i Húnter and Ramon Turró i Darder, he founded in 1923 the Catalan Society of Filosophy, which depended on the Institute of Catalan Studies. Ricardo Luis Carreras (born December 8, 1949) is a retired bantamweight boxer from the United States, who won the bronze medal at the 1972 Summer Olympics. In the semifinals of the men's bantamweight (– 54 kg) division he was defeated by eventual silver medalist Alfonso Zamora. Carreras was born in New York City, New York. Michael Carreras
Michael Henry Carreras (21 December 1927 – 19 April 1994) was a British film producer and director. He was known for his association with Hammer Films, being the son of founder James Carreras, and taking an executive role in the company during its most successful years. As producer, he worked on ''The Curse of Frankenstein'' (1957), ''Dracula'' (1958) and ''The Curse of the Werewolf'' (1960) and ''She'' (1965) among over sixty other films. He also wrote a smaller number of screenplays. He later turned to directing, with '' The Savage Guns / Tierra brutal'' (1961), ''Maniac'' (1963), ''The Curse of the Mummy's Tomb'' (1964), '' Slave Girls'' (1967), '' The Lost Continent'' (1968) and '' Shatter'' (1975) among others. Narcis de Carreras i Guiteras (1905, in La Bisbal d'Empordà — 1991, in Barcelona) was a Spanish lawyer and president of FC Barcelona.
