Mateo Carreras (born 17 December 1999) is an Argentine professional rugby union player who plays on the wing for Top 14 club Bayonne and the Argentina national team. Club career On 21 November 2019, he was named in the Jaguares squad for the 2020 Super Rugby season. Carreras joined Newcastle Falcons in December 2020. 2020 Super Rugby Season
The 2020 Super Rugby season was the 25th season of Super Rugby, the international men's rugby union competition organised by SANZAAR involving teams from Argentina, Australia, Japan, New Zealand and South Africa. It was the third tournament in its then-current fifteen-team format, and it was also its last. The Christchurch-based were the defending champions, having won the previous three consecutive seasons back-to-back (2017, 2018, 2019). On 14 March 2020, it was announced that the season would be suspended after the conclusion of round seven fixtures, due to the COVID-19 pandemic and a travel restriction that was announced by New Zealand earlier in the day. Replacement regional tournaments would take place thereafter, beginning in June in New Zealand, July in Australia and October in South Africa. 2023–24 Premiership Rugby
The 2023–24 Premiership Rugby is the 37th season of the top flight of English domestic rugby union competition and the sixth to be sponsored by Gallagher. The competition was broadcast by TNT Sports for the eleventh year of their broadcast deal, with six league season games and the final also simulcast free-to-air by ITV. Highlights of each weekend's games were shown on ITV, with extended highlights on TNT Sports. This was the first season to be aired on TNT Sports since it rebranded from BT Sport in July 2023. The reigning champions entering the season are Saracens, who claimed their 6th league title after winning the 2023 final. No team was promoted from the 2022–23 RFU Championship, as the champions were not able to satisfy the eligibility criteria required to enter the league.
