Capel Plough F.C. is an English association football club based in Capel St. Mary, Suffolk currently competing in the . The club is one of the fastest growing clubs in the county. Since May 2023 it has been an official affiliate of Ipswich Town FC and is an FA Charter Standard club. Facilities The club plays its home matches at the Capel St. Mary's Playing Field. The club's pavilion was built in the early 1970s and underwent a significant reconstruction beginning in 2021. The previous year, the Babergh District Council approved plans to demolish the center to construct a new, modern sports and social hub which would have included a new 3G artificial turf football pitch. Jacobbi Tugman (born 3 October 2004) is a Cayman Islands association footballer who plays for Northern Ireland NIFL Championship club Newington and the Cayman Islands national team. Youth career Tugman was a standout in the Cayman Islands youth football system. He competed in the CUC Primary Football League for Bodden Town Primary and was a regular scorer in the competition. The team reached the cup final in 2014. The following season he was his team's top goalscorer. Brantham is a village and civil parish in the Babergh district of Suffolk, England. It is located close to the River Stour and the border with Essex, around north of Manningtree, and around southwest of Ipswich. History The name Brantham is of Old English origin - ''Brant'' for 'hill' and ''ham'' 'village' — hence, 'village on the hill'. Another possible translation may be 'burnt village', a name given after a Viking invasion coming up from the River Stour. Ryan Clampin (born 29 January 1999) is an English professional footballer who plays as a left back or left winger for club Braintree Town. A hat-trick or hat trick is the achievement of a generally positive feat three times in a match, or another achievement based on the number three. Origin The term first appeared in 1858 in cricket, to describe H. H. Stephenson taking three Wicket#Dismissing a batsman, wickets with three consecutive delivery (cricket), deliveries.
