Mark Canter
Mark Canter (born August 11, 1952) is an American journalist, author, and teacher. Born to Nathan Canter, an orthopedic surgeon, and Bette Lou Canter (nee Miller), an LPN, he was raised in the only Jewish family in a tiny farming community in Maceo, Kentucky (pop. 400). In his 20s and 30s, he worked a diverse range of jobs, including surgical orderly, rock-show stagehand, and licensed massage therapist. Canter received a degree in journalism in 1982 from the University of Florida and worked for several Florida newspapers before becoming senior editor of '' Men's Health'' magazine. His articles have also appeared in '' The Miami Sun'', ''St. Petersburg Times'', '' The Baltimore Sun'', '' San Francisco Chronicle'', and '' Yoga Journal'', among other periodicals. Jon Canter
Jon Canter is an English television comedy writer for Lenny Henry and other leading comedians. Canter was born and brought up in the Jewish community of Golders Green, North London and studied law at the University of Cambridge, where he became President of Footlights. After a spell in advertising, copywriting (and as a housemate of Douglas Adams) he became a freelance comedy writer, setting up home in Aldeburgh with his wife, painter Helen Napper. Rosalind Canter (born 13 January 1986) is a British equestrian who competes in eventing. She is the 2018 World Champion. On Monday, 8 May 2023 she won the Badminton Horse Trials riding Lordships Graffalo. She won gold medal in Team eventing at 2024 Paris Olympics. Early life Canter grew up on the family farm in Hallington, Lincolnshire. She attended Kidgate Junior School in Louth, and was also a competitive swimmer in the mid-1990s, with her sister Megan. Laurence Richard Canter (born 3 November 1989) is an English professional golfer who currently plays on the European Tour and formerly played in the LIV Golf Invitational Series.
