Calva Louise
Calva Louise is a rock band formed in London, England in 2016. They compromise lead singer Jess Allanic, drummer Ben Parker, and bassist Alizon Taho. The band has released three full-length albums, ''Rhinoceros'' (2019), ''Euphoric'' (2021), and ''Over the Threshold'' (2023), with a fourth album, ''Edge of the Abyss'', expected in 2025. They have performed internationally, including at festivals in the United Kingdom, Europe, and the United States as well as performing solo and tandem with other artists. Like the members of the band, their music is multilingual. The band was dubbed one of the "Artists You Need to Know" in 2024 by BBC Radio 1. Alternative rock (also known as alternative music, alt-rock or simply alternative) is a category of rock music that evolved from the independent music underground of the 1970s. Calle 13 is a Puerto Rican alternative hip-hop band formed by stepbrothers Residente (lead vocalist, songwriter) and Visitante (multi-instrumentalist, vocalist, beat record producer, producer), along with their half-sister iLe, also known as PG-13 (backing vocals). Pérez and Cabra first were discovered by Elias De Leon. They were subsequently given a record deal with White Lion Records after leaving a demo with A&R Director Carlos "Karly" Rosario.
