Caleb Desnoyers
Caleb Desnoyers (born April 11, 2007) is a Canadian junior ice hockey player for the Moncton Wildcats of the Quebec Maritimes Junior Hockey League (QMJHL). He was selected fourth overall by the Utah Mammoth in the 2025 NHL entry draft. Playing career Desnoyers played for the Saint-Hyacinthe Gaulois of the Quebec Junior AAA Hockey League at 15 years old. During his first season with the team he recorded 23 goals and 30 assists in 42 games. He ranked second in the league in scoring with 53 points. On June 9, 2023, Desnoyers was drafted first overall by the Moncton Wildcats in the 2023 QMJHL Draft. During the 2023–24 season, in his rookie season, he recorded 20 goals and 36 assists in 60 regular season games. Among rookies, he ranked third in points, power-play assists (18) and face-off efficiency (53.9%). Following the season he was named to the Rookie All-Star Team. Saint-Hyacinthe
Saint-Hyacinthe ( , ) is a city in southwestern Quebec east of Montreal on the Yamaska River. The population as of the 2021 Canadian census was 57,239. Rimouski Océanic
The Rimouski Océanic are a Canadian junior ice hockey team in the Quebec Maritimes Junior Hockey League (QMJHL). The franchise was granted for the 1969–70 season as the Sherbrooke Castors. The Castors played in Sherbrooke from 1969 to 1982 before moving to Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu, Quebec, in 1982 to become the Saint-Jean Castors. In 1989, the team was renamed the Saint-Jean Lynx. In 1995, the team then moved to Rimouski, Quebec, to become the Rimouski Océanic. History The team won the QMJHL championship in the 1999–2000 season and went on to win the Memorial Cup that year, with a team featuring future NHL star Brad Richards. IIHF World U18 Championship
The IIHF U18 World Championship is an annual event organized by the International Ice Hockey Federation for national under-18 ice hockey teams from around the world. The tournament is usually played in April and is organized according to a system similar to the Ice Hockey World Championships and the IIHF World Junior Championship. The tournament was first held in 1999. London Knights
The London Knights are a junior ice hockey team from London, Ontario, Canada, playing in the Ontario Hockey League, one of the leagues of the Canadian Hockey League. The Knights started out in 1965 as the London Nationals but changed to their current name in 1968. The Knights have won three Memorial Cup championships. 2025 Memorial Cup
The 2025 Memorial Cup was a four-team round-robin format ice hockey tournament held between May 23 and June 1, 2025, at Colisée Financière Sun Life in Rimouski, Quebec, Canada. It was the 105th Memorial Cup championship which determined the champion of the Canadian Hockey League (CHL). The tournament was hosted by the Rimouski Océanic, who won the right to host the tournament in December 2023. The London Knights defeated the Moncton Wildcats 5–2 in the semi-final, and the Medicine Hat Tigers 4–1 in the final to win their third Memorial Cup title.
