IBM 3270
The IBM 3270 is a family of Block-oriented terminal, block oriented display and printer computer terminals introduced by IBM in 1971 and normally used to communicate with IBM mainframes. The 3270 was the successor to the IBM 2260 display terminal. Due to the text color on the original models, these terminals are informally known as ''Monochrome monitor, green screen'' terminals. Unlike a character-oriented terminal, the 3270 minimizes the number of input/output, I/O interrupts required by transferring large blocks of data known as data streams, and uses a high speed proprietary communications interface, using coaxial cable. ''Millionairhead'' is the only album by Cut_, a project led by Ray Wilson. It was Wilson's first release on which he took on the majority of the songwriting duties. The album proved to be a one-off project; Wilson would go on to record his own solo albums as well as with the reformed version of Stiltskin. Wilson recorded a reworked version of "Another Day" for his solo album '' Change'' in 2003. He frequently plays some songs from this album at his solo concerts. In African American music, and in deejaying and turntablism, a cut "overtly insists on the repetitive nature of the music, by abruptly skipping it back to another beginning which we have already heard. Cut (cards)
In card games, to cut the cards (also "cut the deck" or "cut the pack") is to split the deck into two packets by lifting one packet from the top and placing it face down next to the remaining cards beneath it. The lower packet is then placed on top of it. This is typically done after the cards have already been shuffled, and the procedure is used just prior to the cards being dealt to the players. The aim of this is to reduce the possibility of cheating, for example, by knowing the top or bottom card. Cutting the cards is also a common way of determining the seating order at a card table, the partnerships or the first dealer.
