CS Lanaudière-Nord
CS Lanaudière-Nord is a Canadian semi-professional association football, soccer club based in Joliette, Quebec that plays in Ligue1 Québec, Ligue3 Québec. The team previously played in the PLSQ from 2012 to 2015 as FC L'Assomption-Lanaudière prior to its merger. The club was formed from a merger in 2019 between FC L'Assomption-Lanaudière, who played in the PLSQ from 2012 to 2015, and ARS Laser. In 2016, they left the PLSQ, being replaced by FC Lanaudière, which was supported by all 13 local clubs, before re-acquiring the license for the 2022 season. They departed Ligue1 Québec again after the 2023 season. They rejoined for the inaugural Ligue3 Quebec season in 2025, which acts as the third level of Ligue1 Québec. 2023 Ligue1 Québec Season
The 2023 Ligue1 Québec season is the twelfth season of play for the Ligue1 Québec (and the first since rebranding from the Première ligue de soccer du Québec). L1Q is a division three semi-professional soccer league in the Canadian soccer league system and the highest level of soccer based in the Canadian province of Québec. FC Laval competed in the 2023 Canadian Championship as the league's representative as 2022 league champions. CS St-Laurent won their first league title and qualified for the 2024 Canadian Championship. Main Division Teams Twelve teams will participate in the 2023 season. Pierre-Rudolph Mayard (born February 21, 1988), commonly known as Papouche, is a Canadian soccer player who plays as a forward for AS Blainville in the Première Ligue de soccer du Québec. Nicolas Lesage (born January 3, 1980) is a Gabonese retired footballer who played as a striker. He played at international level with the Quebec national soccer team. Club career Early career Lesage played college soccer with the UQTR Patriotes for five years. During his university career, his achievements were being named a member of the CIS all-star team for three years. Abraham François (born 7 June 1977) is a Canadian retired footballer. He competed in the 1997 Canada Games with Quebec, winning the competition.
