Bünde Station
Bünde (Westf) station is located in Bünde in the German state of North Rhine-Westphalia on the Löhne–Rheine railway and Rahden–Herford railway. The rail services are operated by Deutsche Bahn, WestfalenBahn and Eurobahn. History The main line between Löhne station, Löhne and Rheine station, Rheine opened in 1856 as part of the Hanoverian Western Railway. It was followed in 1899/1901 by the Bassum–Herford railway, Rahden–Sulingen–Bassum line. Direct services to Bremen Hauptbahnhof, Bremen ran over this line until June 1994. Reactivation of the disused Lower Saxony section is not planned. The station sign reads ''Bünde (Westf.)—Die Zigarrenstadt'' (“the cigar city”). It recalls that Bünde was once the centre of the European tobacco industry. Bünde
Bünde (; ) is a town in the Herford district, in North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. Geography Bünde is situated between Osnabrück (west), Hannover (east) and Bielefeld (south). Waterways The town is crossed from west to east by the River Else, one of the few rivers in the world that does not originate from a spring, but as a result of bifurcation. It drains the whole area and discharges via the Werre and Weser into the North Sea. Within the town area it is joined by numerous small streams from the south and north. One of the northern streams is the Gewinghauser Bach, which on its way to the Else crosses water meadows in the district of Ennigloh-Gewinghausen. Bielefeld Hauptbahnhof is the main station in the region of Ostwestfalen-Lippe, in the German state of North Rhine-Westphalia. It is an important station because of the size of the city of Bielefeld and its location at the Bielefeld Pass, which makes it a node for long-distance and regional traffic. Braunschweig Hauptbahnhof is a railway station in the German city of Braunschweig (Brunswick). It is about southeast of the city centre and was opened on 1 October 1960, replacing the old passenger station on the southern edge of the old town. The station is located on the Hanover–Minden railway to Hanover, the Hamm–Minden railway to Hamm and the Verden–Rotenburg railway to Rotenburg an der Wümme. Amersfoort Centraal is the main railway station in Amersfoort in the province of Utrecht, Netherlands. The station was an important link between the western part of the Netherlands and the north and east of the country until December 2012 when the Hanzelijn opened. The ''Regionalbahn'' (; lit. Regional train; abbreviated ''RB'') is a train categories in Europe, type of Regional rail, local passenger train (stopping train) in Germany. It is similar to the Regionalzug (R) and Regio (Swiss railway train), Regio (R) train categories in neighboring Austria and Switzerland, respectively. Wolfsburg Hauptbahnhof
Wolfsburg Hauptbahnhof is the main station of the city of Wolfsburg in the German state of Lower Saxony. It is on the Hanover–Berlin railway and it is the last Intercity-Express stop running east before Stendal or Berlin-Spandau. Fallersleben station is also located in the district of Wolfsburg-Fallersleben. On 25 August 2007, the 50th anniversary of the inauguration of the station building, the station was officially renamed ''Wolfsburg Hauptbahnhof'' (main station).
