Burleigh Bombers Australian Rules Football Club, also known as the Burleigh Bombers, is an Australian rules football club representing the suburb of Burleigh Heads, Queensland, Burleigh Heads on the Gold Coast, Queensland, Gold Coast. The club currently competes in the second highest AFL Queensland league, QFA Division 2 of the Australian rules football in South East Queensland, AFL Queensland State League and its home ground is Bill Godfrey Oval. Young gun, Zeke Uwland, will forever be a famous name for the Burleigh Bombers after winning a flag and BOG at just 16 years of age in 2023. Australian rules football in South East Queensland has a varied history, and many changes were made especially in the 21st century. Ruled and organised by the AFL Queensland, the region had a total of 46 teams playing in different divisions.SEQ teams and competitions

Occasionally inter-zone matches are held with separate South East Queensland representative sides taking part, they include the "Gold Coast Stingrays", the "Suncoast Power", the "Western Taipans", and the "Northern Raiders".
Additionally when the South East competes together they are known as the "South East Bushrangers".

Brayden Crossley
Brayden Crossley (born 16 August 1999) is an Australian rules footballer and the current co-captain of the Southport Football Club in the Victorian Football League (VFL), serving alongside Jacob Dawson. He previously played for the Gold Coast Suns in the Australian Football League (AFL). Early life Crossley was born and raised on the Gold Coast. Lucy Single (born 28 September 2002) is an Australian rules footballer playing for Gold Coast in the AFL Women's competition (AFLW). Early life Single was born on the Gold Coast to a Korean mother and a New Zealand father. She moved with her family to New Zealand as an infant where she played a number of sports including rugby as well as competing in karate competitions. Due to a lack of opportunities in New Zealand, she relocated back to the Gold Coast at the age of 10 and enrolled at Miami State High School. Teagan Levi (born 14 August 2003) is an Australian rugby union player who has represented Australia at sevens rugby at the Commonwealth Games and Olympic Games. Rugby career In October 2021, Levi was drafted to the Gold Coast Suns in the AFL Women's league but opted to join up with the rugby sevens Australian squad instead. She is a former Australian rules footballer, having played for the Gold Coast Suns in the AFL Women's competition (AFLW). Bodhi Uwland is an Australian rules footballer who plays for the Gold Coast Football Club in the Australian Football League. Early life Uwland was born and raised on the Gold Coast where he attended All Saints Anglican School throughout his younger years.
