Alex Burghart
Michael Alex Burghart (born 7 September 1977) is a British politician, academic and former teacher who has served as Member of Parliament (MP) for Brentwood and Ongar since 2017. A member of the Conservative Party, he was formerly a special adviser to Theresa May. He has been serving as Parliamentary Secretary for the Cabinet Office since October 2022. Early life Burghart was born in Dorset in 1977, the son of two state-school teachers. He attended Millfield School in Somerset, having gained a scholarship to the school. Burghart read History at Christ Church, Oxford. He completed his PhD at King's College London in 2007 entitled ''"The Mercian polity, 716–918"''. Hermann Burghart
Hermann Burghart (7 April 1834, Türmitz – 23 January 1901, Vienna) was a Bohemian-born Austrian scenic designer and set decorator. Life and work Burghart studied at the Academy of Fine Arts, Vienna. In 1866, he was engaged as a set designer and decorative painter at the Vienna State Opera. Later that same year, he was taken on as a partner at the theater decorating studio belonging to Carlo Brioschi and Johann Kautsky. The studio was subsequently named "Brioschi, Burghart und Kautsky, k.u.k. Hoftheatermaler in Wien". It employed dozens of carpenters and mechanics in addition to its artists. These included, at various times, Georg Janny, , Franz Poledne, , Ferdinand Brunner and Alfons Mucha. They fulfilled orders throughout Germany and abroad. One of their regular customers was the Metropolitan Opera in New York. Ralph Burghart (born 16 September 1966) is an Austrian figure skating coach and former competitor. A seven-time Austrian national champion, he competed at the 1992 Winter Olympics and placed 18th. Personal life Ralph Burghart was born on 16 September 1966 in Vienna, Austria. He married U.S. figure skater Rory Flack in December 1992. They have two sons, Rendell, born 28 September 1993, and Remington, born 17 January 1997. Their elder son plays tennis for Division 1, Eastern Washington University and the younger competes in figure skating. Burghart and Flack divorced by 2009. He is now married to Cheryl Burghart.
